TM 2011 ANH Stunt Kit a.k.a My First TK

Recommended Posts

Well it arrived after what seems like an eternity to a 30 something child :).

Trooper Master Paul assembled and hand painted the lid, and it is gorgeous I thank him for all his hard work and efforts and for putting up with me waiting lol.

So got the Lexans out and bit the bullet and started trimming.

It is a beautifull set of armour and a pleasure to work on, I do have sore fingers and a few blisters though as the trimming can be tough, but Oh so rewarding.

Anyway I will shut my gob and let you see some piccies:

I havent put much thought into statuses, just getting the kit and putting it together was enough to be going along with atm. I will have to look more into the status stuff later and just concentrate on a good build and UKG clearance for now. :)

Looking good!

I also got my kit from TM not long ago, and I can only hope to get the helmet as nice.

My big worry is getting the ears close to decent, but you dont't have to worry about that :P

Enjoy your build!

Thanks my friend, the BIGGEST worry I had was the helmet as it is so iconic, that is why I left it to the master to hand paint and assemble, that way I just got this awesome thing straight out of the box.

Everytime I look at it I smile, this whole day has meant so much :)

Very nice first kit! Looking forward to watching your progress. Did you get 1.5 or 2mm armor?

Hey John, How do I get a cool Troopermaster signature?

The "status" is just a side effect of a good build ;)

Brian, I will do my best to put as much into the build as I can so hopefully it will be good enough for a status or two :)

Your joy and enthusiasm really shows.

I wish you a great build mate, and I'm sure it will turn out great! :D

the UKG has very high standards for clearance, but I'd take a few moments to look At EIB and Centurion Costume Ref Libraries for the

details on split rivets, cod closures, sidegaps, belt details and blaster details.

good fun!

First clamping and glueing today

Right Forearm cover strips 15mm

Slight squidge out of E6000 but easily fixed once dry and a lesson for me.
