troopermaster
old TM pattern I have made ammendments to this pattern and will post the updated version later.
TK bondservnt[501st]
I think the old pattern fits a sterling really well paul. I'm looking forward to seeing your version 2! lot's of times, like riveting says the holster cutout needs to change depending upon the blaster that is going into it. like steve/riveting says: " I found dimensions will change depending on what blaster you've got. if that helps? paper or plastic templates are your friend & save on the leather ltr. " it's just going to allow for many different types of magazine notch cutout? right paul? it will be great to see the next version!!! troopermaster
The old pattern fits the blasters very well. I just made a few adjustments to sizes to make them more accurate. I have a real Sterling SMG, a rubber Hyperfirm E-11 and a resin E-11 and they all fit the new version of the holster perfectly
Neo Kerberos
The measures of the TM pattern looks good, I have made my holster with these indications ----------- Edited January 17, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed

Neo Kerberos
Well, I'm sure that the short holsters were also used used in the movie... Locitus[Admin]
That's Simons holster, and it's just badly cut compared to the others. Not intentionally shorter.
Neo Kerberos
It is not only shorter, the shape is also very diffrent... It look like more as a "western movie" holster ^^ But I'm interested about it... Did anyone have better picture and measurements of this specific model? Another question about the TM template, what is the more accruate way for the band who maintain the blaster in place ? -------- Edited January 17, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed
TK bondservnt[501st]
I would go with type A strap, and the long version of the snap tab.
troopermaster
Type B is screen accurate and the retaining strap should be longer. The longer strap was one of the amendments I made to the plans. I also made the holster 10mm narrower too. The different holster you see is not meant to be worn with the Stormtrooper armour. I think it may be an Imperial Gunners or Rebel troopers, and whatever it is, it has been riveted onto the belt upside down on Simons suit and the correct way on the promo trooper. I believe Simon will be offering holsters made from his original pattern.
Neo Kerberos
I will be really interested to obtain the Simon's hoster patern !
Darth Aloha[Admin]
On the subject of holsters.... are these dims accurate? Neo Kerberos
Great pics ! Nobody have Simons holsters template? An another little question.... Why these holsters are called "Simons holsters"? ^^ Another pic of the screen used holster, the right color is brown ! ZeroRoom[TK]
Its called called Simon's Holster because it came attached to Simon's armor! The S in RS props stands for Simon. He's the guy that owns the original set of ANH armor that RS props cast their replicas from.
