  1. I like the idea of a backstory. It makes staying in character much easier. And it makes answering random background questions quicker and more believable. TK-6764: Nassik Dabak. Human male Personal motto: Duty above all else. Born and raised in Hanna City (capital city), Chandrila. Second planet in the Chandrila system. Bormea Sector In the Core Worlds along the Perlemian Trade Route Only son of Major Aeron Dabak of the Chandrila Defense Fleet. Upon reaching adulthood, Nassik enrolled in the Brionelle Memorial Military Academy to follow in his father's footsteps. In his senior year, Nassik, and other students in the top of his class, were hand-picked by Moff Seerdon and transferred to the Imperial Academy on Carida for further training. Upon arrival, Nassik was assigned the designation 6764. Upon graduation, Nassik earned the TK designation and was assigned to the star destroyer Immortal. Eventually, TK-6764 was transferred to the Avenger and became a member of the 501st Legion under Commander Bow, where he served up to and through the battle of Endor. He was aboard the Avenger at the battle of Hoth. TK-6764 was on-station briefly on the second Death Star and was present in the Honor Guard during the Emperor's arrival. Shortly before the Battle of Endor, he shuttled back to the Avenger and was aboard the star destroyer during the battle of Endor.
  2. You may be right. At least in Australia. And thank you. And thank you, as well. I look forward to it. With all of the stormtroopers that our squad has, we really ought to have more EIB holders. And another Centurion or two wouldn't hurt, either.
  3. Your armor is absolutely fantastic, Rich. I applaud your conviction to build the Endor armor with all its details. And thank you for taking the time and effort to define the differences between the Death Star and Endor versions of the ROTJ armor. That is a large step towards clarifying and fully defining this build.
  4. You see, that's what a ROTJ guy gets for sticking his nose in ESB affairs. And thank you for a truly stunning holster. Absolutely perfect!
  5. I yield to your greater knowledge.
  6. The ESB CRLs are pretty clear on this... "leaving the lowest row on the magazine housing side uncovered)."
  7. As one of the few Legion ROTJ troopers, I have a vested interest in helping to clarify the details of the ROTJ build. As Rich clearly pointed out, the differences are few. In light of that, it seems prudent for there to be a photographic comparison of the Death Star and Endor builds. Hopefully these pictures can help current and future ROTJ troopers by highlighting those differences.
  8. You're welcome. I'm glad that I tought you something.
  9. When your E-11 is finished, simply take photos of it from every angle. Create a thread about it in the proper E-11 sub-forum (ANH, ESB, or ROTJ) and put the pictures in there for all of us to see and examine. Your blaster will never leave you just to get reviewed. Pictures are all that's necessary.
  10. You can try right-clicking on the link. Then select "Copy e-mail address." Then compose a new e-mail from wherever your e-mail account is. Paste the e-mail address in the "To" area and you should be good to go. Like this: troopersupplies@hotmail.com I assume that you mean tkboots.com
  11. Congratulations, Sean! Great job all around. Even if you do spell your first name funny.
  12. This is an ancient thread with a dead link. Too bad, as the hockey bag idea is fantastic. I revive it because it still is a good idea. You take a huge hockey bag and build an inner frame from 1" PVC pipe for it. It takes eight 3-way elbow corners (for the corners, obviously), eight 4-way T connectors, and a bit of 1" diameter PVC pipe. The 4-way connectors allow you to put shelves in the frame (to create separate compartments within the bag). I wish the guy hadn't let the site go. I remember how he did it, luckily, but I would've liked the photo reference.
  13. As would I. Due to its unpopularity, the ROTJ build hasn't received the official attention that ANH has. Fortunately, the details are there. And Rich's efforts have made it easier to work with.
  14. I am looking forward to the possibility of the ROTJ CRLs being divided into Endor and Death Star versions. And I applaud Rich's efforts to find clear differences between the two. From what I've gathered on these ROTJ sub-forums, the Endor version seems to be the most popular in a rather unpopular build. Our ROTJ build is wonderfully detailed and it was refreshing to read recent discussion on its CRL recently.
  15. Alright! I hope that more WA troopers follow suit. I didn't see any other EIBs in WA either. Unless the Expert Infantryman roster isn't up to date.
  16. Thanks, Dan. As far as being the first TKC Centurion, I'm sure that the powers-that-be will sort it out. As far as the Endor ambush, I've got a nice duty station on the Death Star. I hope that this one doesn't have an open thermal exhaust port on it.
  17. The helmet is looking very good. As far as whether or not to rivet the belt to the ab plate, it's personal preference. Mine is riveted on. My webbing belt is three or so millimeters thick and there wasn't much of a way for me to use snaps although the idea did appeal to me. In the end, it was simpler to rivet it in place. The plus side to that is that I never have to worry about my belt shifting or moving. I don't have a hard time seeing through my bubble lenses. I may be the exception to the rule, though.
  18. My deep and sincere thanks to you all. Looking at your collective kudos (First EIB For the Carolina Garrison, First ANH Centurion, and First ICN EIB) I consider myself to be in august company. Cheers!
  19. Thank you! I may be the first ROTJ Centurion if the EIB roster is up to date. I couldn't have done this without the vast amount of help, inspiration, and guidance that I have received from the FISD over these past couple of years. Of particular note, I thank TK-J, Troopermaster, TK Bondservnt 2392, Locitus, and TK-8280 (the first ROTJ EIB). I also thank my partner, DZ-4640. She has been my build partner, measurer, and all-around inspiration in getting this armor done.
  20. Not for ROTJ you don't. ROTJ is 90 degrees (squared belt corners). Look at the trooper on the far left here.
