  1. My ATA kit came a few days ago and I've just stopped giggling like a school girl long enough to announce it here. heeheehee I'll be going for the classic ANH stunt on this bad boy... ultimate goal of EIB of course. I was thinking of doing the rare MM-TK, but I probably shouldn't. I was pleasantly surprised to find I may not have to extend the ab/kidney sections, my gut isn't as big as I feared. I may have to shim the thighs and calves though. From the waist down I seem to have a little more girth than most. BTW, the first offering has been made to the armor gods. More progress pics (and questions, I'm sure) to come!
  2. 5/01 is Legion Day! (at least it should be) May all your builds be screen accurate and your props authentic!
  3. My 2 credits: I say go for it. I feel your pain though... I'm 5-11 206 on a good day. I am getting an ATA kit and may have some work cut out for me. Good luck!
  4. Does anyone else smell burning plastic?
  5. Best bet is to use a 3rd party site like photobucket.com or imageshack.us
  6. The phrase "an arm and a leg" comes to mind. On the plus side you could just stay here for c5!
  7. My wife bought some SW Easter egg decorating sets for next year. I saw them and noticed it has stickers and 31 tattoos in each box. Good stuff for troops I believe. Base price was $2.99 and they were 75% off. Can't last long I'm sure, so get there fast if you're interested.
  8. Are you using two different brand products? I believe you can get a bad reaction when you do this.
  9. On topic: Just looked at the price tag on the E-11's I bought and they are actually $14.95, full price. Not a bad price IMHO, especially for Di$ney! ;-) Back off topic: Nope, not me, Rob. I'm what's called a seasonal employee, which means I pick up shifts here and there around my full time job. I haven't worked in the parks (I work at them all) since January. I also work at Universal part time and they have kept me busy on the weekends with Mardi Gras. Hope you had a blast here!
  10. No, I wish. I'm a photopass photographer though, which still a lot of fun. I tried to look in to being a character for star wars weekends but didn't really fit the bill for what they needed. :-p
  11. Got mine for half price at Xmas time. Being a cast member has its privileges.
  12. Although I'm not a member yet (counting the days til I order my armor) I would definitely have to second everything said above.
  13. Wow, you can even set this baby for stun. Top notch work. Again, WOW!
  14. If you are looking for someone that provides AFFORDABLE and accurate TROOPER ARMOR, some people would say you don't have to look beyond this thread. wink wink nudge nudge and no, it's not me
  15. Oh, I thought it was embroidered on. If acetone doesn't work I would just take a Sharpie to it.
  16. My wife has a tool called a seam ripper or stitch puller that does the trick. Here's info: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seam_ripper?wasRedirected=true
  17. The boxes and their content are very cool, no doubt... but I am digging that wall behind them too.
  18. Phenomenal Great work all around
  19. Here we go again... PT is PIRATE Trooper if memory serves. That name alone speaks volumes to some. Recast debate begins in... 3... 2... 1...
  20. Hmmm I don't have a problem viewing the regular FISD theme on my MotoDroid. I keed, I keed. New site looks great btw. Thumbsup
  21. Its like the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, we may never know what's in there.
  22. Darn, I found this thread too late. I was going to suggest you simply reroute it to me and I would take a stab at it. I mean, I do have professional experience. UPS - What can Brown do for you?
  23. I think troopers in the northern hemisphere rotate one way, and those in the southern hemisphere rotate the other way.
  24. Got mine as well! Looks great on my car. You, sir, kick a##! Thanks again!
