  1. That explains why it looks like they want to kill the camera man.
  2. PM "Daverian" he has some really nice and realistic looking battle damage on his armor. I'm surprised he hasn't added a reply in here. He is on the far right in this picture.
  3. Congratz, I need to get off my couch and get my armor up to par. I noticed in pic 3 and 5 in your 1st post that you kind of resemble C-3PO in TK armor
  4. I did send a PM, maybe I'll send another.
  5. I am interested in trying the new Trik Toys system in it, but I haven't heard back from him.
  6. Just send him an email. He builds them as people order them. Scott might kill me for saying this. He just built one for me and I had him wire in a third external speaker for the added volume. It is hooked up with a jack so when I need it I plug it in and when I don't I just use the mic tip speakers. He does quality work, you won't be disappointed.
  7. One more reason to hate Vista. AAArrrgh!!!!
  8. Looks good. It looks like the forearms might be a little long, but wear it a few times to see how much it bites you before trimming them. It will make it much more comfortable and it easier to put your bucket on.
  9. The FBI maintains a "Terrorist" watch list. If you have any affiliation with a know terrorist or perceived terrorist organization you can be added to the list. When any law enforcement organization runs your name through NCIC it will pop up with basic information about your possible connection and instructions for how to handle the situation. Like whether to detain and question or to simple ID the person or to immediately contact the FBI. The agency that detains you is not allowed to disclose if you are on the list or not. If that agency discloses that info they will be severely punished with heavy fines and loss of access to NCIC. I'm not sure if the information is placed into INTERPOL or not. This would be my guess on what happened and it is most likely in connection to the gun incident.
  10. I recently found out that I only live about 20 minutes away from you too. I would love to see it some time. Like over a beer at a local McMenamins???
  11. Thats funny ...Who would have thunk, over here across the pond we have "Dollar Stores". Its a small world. Great idea by the way.
  12. Thats nice to know Wyatt. I guess since we were soaked from the rain no one noticed . I'll make sure that I let everyone know this year though .
  13. I used ones that look identicle to Item #2750617. They might even be made by the same company, but I bought mine at Radio Shack. Same amps and everything. But I am definately not the electronics guy in the forum.
  14. I had mine so that I don't have to mow the lawn anymore . Now I just have to wait till they are big enough to push the mower <_< .
  15. It all tends to blend in with the undersuit. You will only notice it if you are looking for it.
  16. Very nice, I can't wait for the t-shirts
  17. I tend to agree that the FX should be excluded as an exceptable helmet. But if it is, are we going to create a list of the standard exceptable buckets and a case by case on the rarer fan made buckets?
  18. There is another cheaper substitute at Home Depot. It is also a rubberized spray for about $15 a can.
  19. The Cloud City Garrison is doing a Timothy Zahn book signing on 01/31. Let me know what you want and maybe I can hook you up.
  20. Me too...Me too. My kid would love that hanging in his room. I'll PM my address.
  21. I would stay away from the ABS cement, it can cause warping. I prefer CA glue which can typically only be purchased at your small local hobby stores looks like this Maxi-Cure. It has a very fast cure time and you can buy an accelerant to spray on for an instant cure. It is very strong and won't warp. I have E6000 in my tool box also, but I prefer the max-cure CA glue for putting the armor together. I have had E6000 pop apart, but never CA Glue.
  22. I agree, it brought a sinister smile to my face . Nice choice.
  23. Find yourself a copy of the Star Wars Visual Dictionary. I have seen some really close display pieces that people have made very close to the one in the visual dictionary, but none that are wearable. Good luck, I'd be interested in seeing your finished producted.
