  1. I would think that a white leather dye would work fine. You might have to use a pre-treatment on the boot before applying the dye, but something like this ----------------should work fine. It's fairly cheap experiment anyway. If in doubt find a local leather store or saddle maker and ask.
  2. I'm interested in one. Let me know what I owe you. We should start a thread just to advertise our left over materials. I've got a ton of white vinyl and black mesh.
  3. If your boots are that bad...you can just stay home and I'll march for you. It's the least I could do for a fellow trooper.
  4. Thanks guys. It has been a good day. My kids got me the new AT AT and my wife is letting me get some new armor.
  5. The helmet looks awsome. I have a question though regarding the screws in the ears. It looks as though you removed the bottom screws and filled the holes. Any reason that you decided to only use one screw per ear cap? Was it to match a peticular helmet reference picture? This is not critism just curious about why you did it, because I would still trade you buckets in a heart beat .
  6. Can some PM the contact info and approximate price to get one of these RT Mods again. I lost it . Thanks.
  7. I want a Wampa and Shuttle in my garrison too . Nice pictures!!!
  8. Yep, He is in town and is going to troop with us on Wednesday 10/18. I begging for some time off work so I can go meet him. We are in the works of planning a couple more big weekends during this exhibit and I will make sure that we get the word up to the Titan folks.
  9. We in The Cloud City Garrison have been really busy trooping. We can pretty much troop non-stop until 01-01-07. Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination opened this last week at OMSI in Portland. It is an oustanding exhibit and a lot of fun to troop. I must have posed for a thousand pictures on Saturday. We invited Garrison Titan down to play, so quit your whining TK8020 . I'll have to see if I can get some pictures posted. Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination
  10. Try this stuff-----------. Most hobby stores carry it. The link I included actually has a really good price on it.
  11. I purchased the TrikToys Amp because I did not know any better. There is nothing wrong with the set up, it works fine. The static burst is simply you blowing into the mic. But save yourself a lot of money and shipping charges. Go to Radio Shack and buy it yourself. It is just an off the shelf unmodified set up. TrikToys does have nice machined mic tips that can fit small speakers if you want to get away from the faucet heads. Don't buy TrikToys mic tip speakers either because they can be picked up at most Hobby Stores for cheaper. They are just toy train speakers. I just managed to get a Rom FX that I need to work on hooking up. Good Luck!
  12. I would love to buy a set. If the deal goes for a few months I might manage to scrape up enough.
  13. Aaron, I recieved the buttons today and they look really nice. Do you have any suggestions for attaching other then just glue. I noticed that they are threaded, do you use a screw also?
  14. I believe the winning name was my suggestion. I'll be the first to jump in line and say YES to changing division to corps in the name. Good catch!
  15. I just saw these the other day at Home Depot. They only sell them for the new EZ lock attachment though. I passed for now, but they might be worth a try. -----
  16. I ordered them too. I just sent a message a couple days ago because I haven't heard anything either. I'm sure that they will be coming soon.
  17. Alright, thanks guys. No damage yet, I was able to pull the one I started with. I guess I'll work with a little more patience. Flat sticker, rounded surface...I thought there might more of a trick to it. Didn't you use these on your Sandy bucket Rob? Your came out smooth right?
  18. Does anyone have some good tricks for applying stickers. I just bought replacements for my bucket and I'm having some problems trying to prevent them from creasing. I'm using Windex so I have time to move them around to get them properply placed, but I'm having a hard time with the darn creases . This is where I got them. LINK Removed as broken and leads nowhere
  19. I have had the same problem when I was painting a modified Kenner. I had already put on several coats of paint, I added one more when it was dry and it did that. It started pulling apart and cracking almost like it was shrinking as it was drying. I have no idea what caused it though. The most recent coat was a new can of paint, maybe a bad can? I sanded mine down and got a fresh can with no more problems.
  20. Honestly I would love to see it all. Even though I believe I have a little bit of skill in some areas, I love to examine everybody elses gear to see the suttle differences. I also loved to see when somebody does a better mod then I have. I have a funny feeling my TK will never be completely done .
  21. I'm looking for good quality helmet fans and I was hoping somebody would have a good solution. The ones I currently have I picked up on Ebay. All they really do is drain my batteries. They provide very little benefit. I'm looking for something that provides good airflow, but are quiet.
  22. If that falls through check out -------------
  23. Ahh Haa. I have been using a cordura strap and it has been popping off, now I will switch to an elastic material. Thanks, TK8020 P.S. I'm loving our little detachment, it has been quit helpful.
  24. Only 7,888kb so I guess email only.
