The only problem I've had with plastic welder is that over time it does yellow. So try not to let any show. I made that mistake.

In reference to the part about cutting down the film cannister and adding them, the plastic will shield the speakers from the mic to eliminate feedback? I have a bad feedback problem with my Skullworx. Just wondering if this would work on it.

Please report if you find something that will work.

Can you elaborate on the blutack thing? i know what that stuff is and I have some. Are you covering the speakers with it or what?

Does anybody here have a skullworx system? I find that I can't turn up my volume very loud without feedback. Anybody know how to correct this?

I really doubt helium would work. Helium actually has very little lifting power in relationship to weight. If you've ever seen the Mythbusters where they used helium balloons to lift a person you will see how much helium it takes to lift something. Unless you got the thing built in at under about 8 or 10 pounds I don't think it would work.... But a 12 ft Star Destroyer would look really cool.

I use the Novus polish that came with mine. I like the pristine clean look. Not sure about car wax though.

Yeah, you've got to cut the codpiece. I have mine attached with webbing so it will swing up. The codpiece is attached to the buttplate between my legs with webbing and snaps. But since the front of my belt velcros to my belly, the belt has to come off. Also your body suit is an issue. If its a one piece without a zipper down there you are pretty much screwed. I have a two piece but the bottoms come up to my belly button so you have to stretch it down to let the lizard out. Can be uncomfortable. However, I have never actually had to do the tinkle while trooping. Always go really good before suiting up. I've never tropped over about 4 hours so the situation hasn't arrived yet. I don't look forward to having to do this whole process but I certainly thought about it while putting my suit together and designed accordingly. Number 2, on the other hand, is out of the question. Trooping is not for the Irritable Bowel Syndrome affected. You're probably looking at at least a half hour to unsuit, do your business, and get back into action. Not to mention, where do you keep a magazine or newspaper in your suit?

That is odd, I was always under the impression that Mark Hamill was left handed. The only evidence I have of this is the movie "Corvette Summer". In it, in one scene, he is writing a letter to his teacher and he is definatly writing with his left hand. Anyone know the truth? By the way- I am a proud lefty myself.

I can't believe they haven't remade Logan's Run. But, actually, if you take Logan's Run and mix it with THX 1138 you pretty much get The Island. Which was actually a pretty good movie I thought.

You ever seen the movie "Corvette Summer" with Mark Hamill? I think they used your car for the one they modified in that movie. It was an AWESOME car. Best vette EVER!!!!

I may be the only one in the world with this opinion. I love Bladerunner, yes. I saw it the first time at the world Science Fiction convention in Chicago in like 81 or 82. My deal is-- I HATE the director's cut. Why can't I just buy the theatrical version by itself on DVD? I don't need 18,000 different versions. I loved the original. I loved that it was like an old detective movie with Harrison Ford's narration. A while back I let my girlfriend watch it. We only had the director's cut and she said it sucked. She could not understand what was going on and I have to agree with her. If you've never seen it and know nothing about it, the director's cut is awful. Too hard to understand. Now I know all you BR lover's are probably screaming Blasphemy right now, but which did YOU see first? Give me the original anyday.

Wow, I thought maybe I was the only one who ever snuck a tape recorder into the theater!! It was one of those old fairly large portable cassette recorders. About 14 inches long by about 10 inches wide and about 6 inches thick. I wore a pair of oversized pants so I could shove it down my crotch. Wore about three shirts to try to cover up the HUGE bulge at my belly. Had to take a flashlight in so I could check the tape and know when to turn it over and when to put in a new tape. Made my buddy pay for both our tickets so I could stand away from the ticket booth to hopefully not be noticed. The recording was terrible, especially since the sound in our old theater was garbage to begin with. But,Oh Man, was I proud of those tapes. I listened to them at least a thousand times. Over the years they began to squeak really bad because I left them in my car and the heat ruined them. But what fun they were. Remember this was waaaaaay before vcrs.

Hey guys, my computer crashed the other day and I lost all my Star Wars screensavers and wallpapers. Can you help me out? I really only want original trilogy type stuff. It doesn't really have to be wallpaper or screensavers just good quality large pictures. Help a fellow trooper out please.

Thank you all for your support. I just wish these holidays were over. I am just totally skipping Christmas this year. I just don't have it in my heart this year. This is the first year in my 43 years of life I'm not putting up a tree. And I really love this time of year but I just can't do it this year. No tree, no decorations, no presents, no shopping, not watching any Christmas shows on TV, no Christmas carols, no nothing. This week has been especially rough. This coming weekend was the week we were going off on a four day weekend romantic getaway and get engaged. We were going to stop at her parents Thursday night and I was going to officially ask her father for his permission to marry her. Then we were going off for the weekend. I was going to do the whole bit, the expensive restuarant, the ring in the champagne glass, the bended knee, the whole thing. I wanted it to be the most romantic thing she had ever seen. All that is gone now. Everything just SUX.

It's been a month now and the pain has not eased up any. But I now find strange things going thru my mind. Maybe someone here who has lost a loved one can help. When I am around people I don't know or really care about I find myself able to deal. If that makes any sense. But when I am around my family or people I love I find that the pain wells up really bad. Is this just because when love enters my mind I think of my lost love? Also,and this is really wrong, but everyone tells me to remember the good times with her. But when I do that all I can think about is that we cannot make anymore good times together and it hurts so bad. I find myself trying to think about the bad times like arguments and disagreements we had. Those thoughts don't seem to hurt as bad. Am I just a horrible person for feeling this way? What is wrong with me?

I don't have any pics of mine but unless Skullworx has upgraded in the past couple of years it does not have static burst. You have to fake it....and you always forget.

I could be wrong but I seem to remember in the original novelization of Star Wars it said he was 20.
