  1. Amazing! Good work Trooper!!!
  2. Hello and welcome! Hope you can find what you are looking for either over here or over at the MEPD!
  3. Congratulations!!! Great job! Welcome EIB #1068!!
  4. Wow that is reeeeally flexible!
  5. The ANH Stormtrooper armor isn't built with much sitting down in mind, I'm not sure with the FOTK but generally if you want to sit in a TK armor, you'd have to have that in mind when building it and adjusting what you can to make it possible! We have a few ANH Stormtroopers that have tweaked their armor so that they are able to sit down with it, but I'd say sitting down isn't a TKs best skill You'd need some extra work to make it happen! Some TKs can sit down just because of how the armor fits them, but some of us have just accepted our fates!
  6. Welcome back brother!!! Can't wait to see your images from that troop in November! Maybe post about your armor polishing as that can be unclear for people that haven't actually seen images of it being done!
  7. It looks awesome! Can't wait for the final result Brian!
  8. Hello Lauren and welcome to the FISD, you're in good hands here! Thank you for the great introduction! We have the Valkyrie's section here on the forum that will come in handy, where you can read a bunch about wearing and building a TK armor! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/255-vaders-valkyries-armor-open-discussion/
  9. Looks great!!
  10. Hello Aa-ron and welcome to the FISD!
  11. Hello and welcome Brian! You have an exciting journey ahead of you! The shock trooper sure looks awesome so I really understand the pull towards that one! Are you 50/50 on which one you want or do you have anything that weighs heavier on the other? Anything we could help you out with?
  12. I wrap my E-11 in bubble wrap and put it in the bottom of my suitcase, with the magazine sticking out underneith the armor!
  13. I don't think that the hose was attached at all to the helmet on the live action. It looks like it is attached to the chest - and I think it should be possible to have it attached to either the chest or the helmet, since we don't know a lot for sure about how it was attached other than some toys and the BTS photos from ANH. In the BTS photos from ANH I think it looks like they have just used a lot of silver duct tape, but that is not necessarily something I plan on doing I'm adding this to the original discussion as well
  14. Sent you a PM with some information on the process and my personal experience, hopefully it can help you on your journey!
  15. Hello Daz! Hopefullty it works out! You can always try and mess around with the height of the shins and where you have your thighs positioned! I'm positive that you can find a middle ground where it still looks good! How much taller are you than the other trooper?
  16. Hello and welcome to the FISD! Any and all questions that you have, we are here for you! Glad to have you!
  17. I also agree on using vinyl! Since it is smacked on by the animation studio with color textures, a sticker is like the real world version of that, except from painting it straight on ofc!
  18. Super excited to see this build! And to get to troop with it some day! Keep up the good work Daniel!
  19. Welcome back! We're always here when you need us!
  20. That is great to hear Dale! Praise the Lord Vader!! Glad to have you here, and I am so happy for you that this all worked out in the end! What a nightmare reading all those reviews after spending that much money!
  21. Oh ok nice! But adding a little something to the top with a screw and washer just like the bracket could be nice maybe, or like glue for keeping the weight light
  22. Would it be possible to move the metal bracket up towards the top maybe? And thereafter do the same thing you've done below but above the box area on the back plate? Your previous strapping holes would still be covered by the backpack i feel?
