  1. Wait.. what? Glen are you saying I can apply or request access to TK ESB Detachment now? My armor is ordered but it wont be here for another 2 weeks. Am I reading what you said correctly? I thought the detachment access needed the 501st profile link? Is that just a link, regardless of an approval?
  2. And where would an aspiring Trooper acquire said black steel mesh?
  3. Here's one of the best ones I've seen on Youtube
  4. Thats awesome! Albeit I do not have my armor yet, the reviews and recommendations from others for RSP is overwhelmingly positive. Are you doing the "build your own" or did you order the fully commissioned? The reason why I am asking is, the Neckseal, and undersuit from RSP were designed to go with the complete set when they put it all together. They do sell the soft parts separately as well... including boots. If you got the build your own, you shouldnt need to paint much. Also there are build threads like the one @TKSpartan linked, in which some have the "how to make your own ABS glue" to other things like "best places to buy the decal stickers" instead of painting. Looking forward to seeing your build thread too!
  5. Indeed! My BBB is expected in a week from now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. See!? this is why Glen is the man. Great clarification.
  7. ahhh Nein nicht wirklich. Ich habe 8 Jahre Deutsch gelernt. My family heritage.
  8. Thanks Glen I was just doing the same thing, and noted that he should contact the leaders either via the join, or register for the forums. Those are the direct contacts youll need for your GML
  9. Welcome. Without a doubt the initial perusing of this board can seem daunting and difficult. However it’s just the view of the mountain and not the actual path you’ll take yourself. The path is clean, organized, there for you, and help is all along the way. You won’t walk every inch of the mountain. Lol Once you have determined what build and troll around in those build threads as well as the pre-approval threads, it’ll become much easier to see all the help that’s available here. Biggest thing I’ve learned recently. Ask. You’ll get a quick reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. What a great start! And yes the first couple steps are sometimes the hardest. You’ll make a few mistakes, but just keep moving. Progress is progress no matter now big the step. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Star lord! Oh I’ve always wanted to do that one. Welcome. I was born near Lima. Well actually closer to Bellefountaine actually. Welcome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Welcome trooper! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks Justin. That does explain a lot. And yes. You’re right. What a big step it was. Looking forward to have both feet in.
  16. Thanks for the quick reply and detailed feedback. For the Hovi tips.. this is what I purchased. https://www.etsy.com/listing/525718278/stormtrooper-audio-system-wvoice?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=ukswrath&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&frs=1&cns=1 I will of course have to cut off the existing ones, drill a hole for the wires and bolt mount them. Two follow ups. 1. For the shoulders I’ve seen screen images that suggest the ESB bicep armor is consistently “below” the shoulder. When I look at the CRL it doesn’t really say. When I read some of the applications.. o can physically see some are and some aren’t...but I want to know if it’s a requirement or not. I prefer the tucked. 2. For the ear marking.. I am referring to this: Thanks again for all the other answers!! Very helpful! - CB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Hello, apologies if some of this has already been asked. I was able to find most answers to my many questions on the 501st CLR page. But some Im just not sure about. Are the hand plates made of rubber or silicone? Or are they hard plastic for Centurion? What is a “S” neck? Btw don’t google that. The white elastic that holds down the shoulder pieces, that is attached to the larger white elastic of the chest and back over the shoulder. Yes? How wide is the shoulder white elastic? Bicep below or tucked in the shoulder piece for centurion? Do the ear piece rank colors specific to the button? Can someone show me a side picture of centurion for both ears please? May I put feet stirrups in the shin guards to help keep them down on the boot? May I put black mesh behind the frown in lieu of the typical silver mesh to help conceal my face? Will installing the UKsWrath Hovi iComm tips invalidate the helmet for centurion? The CRL states “AM v1” chest and back to replace for more screen accuracy. Can someone explain this? And second part of this question.. will the RSPro Commission built pieces meet that criteria? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Im going for this build also. So I’m watching and learning with highest of interest. Hang in there buddy. I’m on your coattails. Question: are the centurion hand plates hard or synthetic? I read a couple posts that suggested ESB is silicone on black latex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Not my thread, but I am working hard to learn... Can you be more descriptive about what is incorrect? Thanks!
  20. Hello Nicolas. I have some intel for you aspiring trooper. 1. Great call on taking the plunge. Looking forward to seeing those BBB pics and your "new birthday" lol 2. Welcome to the Carolina Garrison. If you haven't already, please go to this website http://www.carolinagarrison.net/ , register, and fill out this membership form, (again if you haven't already) http://www.carolinagarrison.net/?page_id=915 3. I highly recommend you read through some of these https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/193-request-tk-pre-approval/ to understand what others have done during pre-approval. (This is the step I am on lol). Once you are to that point, perhaps someone more veteran than I can help you. Yet, that's a good spot to start. I am also in the Carolina Garrison. Welcome! I just drove through FBragg on my way back from a Garrison meet up in Atlantic Beach! I was both a blast and an eye opening time. Looking forward to getting to know you a bit more. Oh... and welcome!!
  21. This is one of my favorites.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I’m happy to report, my Garrison leader invited me to come and see them in action on one of their trooping. This only reinforced my desires and drive. Although I don’t know your TK ID here, thank you Jeremy and the rest of the troopers I met today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
