Minor update: Loosely assembled the helmet, mostly to get tape lines for PlastiDip spraying... Got everything taped off, had a brainstorm about KISS styled helmets, discovered someone thought of it long ago... Sprayed two coats of white... That's it for now, will attempt to get the Dremel going sometime this weeekend.

I intend to make mine functional (or give it a heck of a try). I was thinking ID, debit card, some cash in one, maybe cards I collect during a troop in the other. I have a couple of methods for keeping them closed bouncing around in my head.

I thought Laura Dern totally stole it... not a bad thing. I'm in agreement with much of the "meh," but also in agreement that another viewing would be good (thought that before it even ended). The one thing that irked me in both VII and VIII was Snoke. Why did they have to bring in a complete unknown with zero history? Some "force sensitive who saw both the rise and fall of the Empire?" Sure, and just happened to have the resources and insider knowledge to pull the stragglers together, build a massive fleet and army, and essentially take over the known universe... There were plenty of existing background characters in the SW realm who could have realistically taken those reins. Overall, though, I didn't want that part of my life back. It was fun enough.

Check the build threads in this section and you'll see the process. It looks pretty labour-intensive from what I've seen but your mileage may vary.

Just don't forget it when you get home! I haven't trooped but I can tell you tales of horror based on skater pads...
