Found these for ya. Mine are based on the same diagrams, but I use two Line 24 snaps and 2" black elastic for all the body connections and 1" for the sides and arms. Some places like the legs and left side of the kidney attachment, I use 1" black *nylon webbing where I don't want it to stretch. I'd also be cautious of using snaps actually set into the armor for anything load-bearing, as it just adds stress and stress makes cracks. I'll try to find a good photo of one of my kits too so you can see.

Looking good! Remember to align the forearms from the TOP (elbow area), since you'll have no return edge and can trim from the wrist to even them out. You can take MOST of the return edge out of the biceps since they're barely visible, which will help a lot. Your strapping layout looks good, though most guys only run two straps from the back to kidney. And you'll need to move the outside kidney to posterior strapping in a bit to make room for the kidney notches, should you choose to run them. I absolutely second this. I went the hybrid route and built my own, but had Sean/Crooknight make a couple of my parts - he 3D-printed my funnel and pulled two of my boxes out of ABS - they look way better than most homebuilt, probably. @kman has a gorgeous pack and would be a great resource as well!

Hey Eriberto! Hit me up if you have any HWT questions! I'm also SCG and helped put together Fire Team Heavy Hitters, the SoCal HWT Fire Team - we'd love to have you join! The pouches Joseph linked are the ones I used and was approved with, and I agree, are about as cheap as they come. Some guys use the more "Sandy" style pouches, but they're usually more expensive and in my opinion, don't look as good. I definitely recommend Sharpie-ing out the white stitching once you receive these (or I used a black paint pen), and using foam or some balsa wood to make "fake magazines" to give the pouches some shape, while keeping the weight down. I can send you pics of mine if it'll help. Good luck on your build and we hope to see you as a Heavy Hitter soon!

Curious if this has been discussed, but I noticed that studio suits used on set for The Mandalorian were not closed at the back of the thigh using velcro, as is called for in the ROTK CRL - they were actually left open, overlapping, and utilized elastic to hold the backs shut, but allowing for flex. Has this been discussed anywhere else? We didn't get an official word, but it was heavily implied that the suits were reused from Solo and/or R1. I have seen the attached photo from CE, and it looks like there is a tiny bit of velcro visible on the right thigh, but what I saw was definitely contrary. Thoughts?

Ammo belt should come up a little and you could use some white paint around the edge of the mic tips, but I don't see anything major that should keep you from basic approval. Looking good man!

Hey Gary! I don't see anything glaring that should keep you from approval on the armor, but to be frank, the paint on your helmet leaves much to be desired. The frown will definitely need cleanup for higher levels of approval as well as the traps, ears, and vocoder. Have you considered using decals? While hand painted is more accurate, decals are acceptable even at Centurion and will look much cleaner. Ab buttons were painted with the older-style Humbrol 14 French Blue, not the lighter Testors/Model Master. It was an older can too, so it looks pretty dark with the lighting is all, I think. I think Max is gonna try to take a better-lit photo for ya soon.

Just saw this. Absolutely not, Jeff! The suit was assembled beautifully years ago, but needed some TLC to repair and restore it. I worked with Jessie on a long series of upgrades over time - I disassembled her helmet, repainted the interior (preserved where you signed it even!), reinstalled the padding and electronics and reassembled, did about 3 coats of Armor White on the bucket and body where it had yellowed, polished everything for several hours with Novus, repaired several cracks, and completely replaced her strapping system from the Anovos velcro to snaps, among other things. You built it, but I definitely put some time in helping repair and upgrade it, as well as taking her EIB submission photos. I believe you can have more than one mentor/armorer if we both spent significant time helping with the suit, so you absolutely deserve recognition as well. Hit me up if there are any issues

Hey party people, Justin "TheRascalKing" R. here. My Anovos ANH-S TK is starting to show some wear and tear after 3 years of trooping in it pretty frequently, and I've decided that it's finally time to start moving towards retiring it. That being said, I'm a stormtrooper through and through (Centurion #396, TK Mentor for SCG, working towards Armorer), so I knew I had to replace it with something else white and shiny. After some research, (at time of writing) it looks like Jim Tripon ("Jimmiroquai") from the Philippines' kit is the only high quality one currently available (aware of 850AW soon at least). But I liked the idea of flexible fiberglass and I was very impressed with some of his Praetorian Guard suits that SCG members have. Plus, it looked most similar to the material used for the suits I saw on set (recycled from R1 and Solo). I already knew shipping from the Philippines was expensive and group buys were the way to go, so I started reaching out to others in my Garrison to see if we could get something going. Turns out another member was already starting to do the same and we were able to get together a group buy of at least 7 suits! Parts are starting to come off the line and Jim has been great to work with. I'll post back with more when BBB day comes, but I thought I'd start a thread and get things going. I'll do my best to document our build, as there isn't much out there on these suits yet. We have some experienced builders and we plan to loop in some master Clone builders as well, as this almost has more in common with a Clone or FO build in many ways. Teamwork makes the dream work. Planning on getting Jim's undersuit and having it tailored if needbe, and having a friend who has his own paint business spray the kit for me (he mostly does motorcycles, but has sprayed helmets in the past for me and does top notch work).
