  1. Are they any less of a part of the star wars universe than the expanded universe? Having trooped this in Essen I can speak first hand as to the recognition and the effect they had. Steve Sansweet personally asked to see us and was awestruck and paid us nothing but compliments about our achievement. The RMQ universe already boasts toys and statues amongst its merchandise and sells well. Ultimately what makes it a part of the Star Wars is all of us and our love of everything, well almost everything, Star Wars. Star Wars started as an idea we just made one of the ideas a reality. 2. This is quite an old thread so I am not sure Mark will see it. E6000 will work on the elastics mate, also good on the shoulder bells elastic. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  3. What is JB weld? I would be careful using anything that melts the rubber. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Personally I would and have used black flexi CA glue to great effect. Its rubber consistency works well and is less conspicuous. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  5. That is inspirational! Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work buddy, you will be out trooping in no time! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Black flexible CA glue will do it. I'm pretty aire thay cowl is urethane and vey little sticks to that. Lwt me know if you need any more help. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Already discussing that, watch this space. It was an amazing day! The concept troopers were a showstopper. The armour itself was very comfortable and troopable. Great to have Kevin and Jono with us on our first outing. The months of hard work really paid off. Another outing tomorrow. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

  17. I know we intend to get it cleared as a legitimate 501st costume. There are more than enough references to make this acceptable. Sent from my GT-N8010 using Tapatalk 2
  18. I have flown from the UK to Europe and the US many times with armour. As Paul suggests a good hard shell case is best and ask the airline if they have a facillity to walk on fragile items, some do and this helps avoid cases being tossed etc. Fragile stickers also help. I also carry pics of the armour and blaster and some of me in the armour to show staff and any customs who are interested, to be honest this generally gets them on side too because as we know everyone loves Star Wars! I also, like Paul carry my helmet on as it is easier. I hope that helps. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
