  1. Hi all, No idea why, but, FISD notifications are now working through Tapatalk. Not sure about UKG as yet.
  2. No worries. Just be careful of damaging the armour. I found that it was really quick and easy to measure the coverstrip, snip the corners (and sand if required), then glue. With a good pair of Lexans, snipping the corners should take seconds and could save you a lot of time down the line. :-)
  3. Hi Jeff, A little gap at the back isn’t too bad. As you’ve said, placing some white abs behind the gap should help out. (I did the same). If you want to add that extra degree of screen accuracy, you could add the little 45 degree angles to your coverstrips, as pictured below from the RS screen used suit. This will be difficult to do once the prices are glued so would ideally be done before gluing. Best wishes, Dan [emoji1]
  4. Hiya, A little tip - if you get a lighter and carefully, and very briefly, run the flame over the cut edge, it will slightly melt it and stop the frayed edges. There’s an example here at around 30 seconds. Dan
  5. Cheers Greg. Reply, testing. ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thinking about it, my iPad has also stopped. Not sure if that means it’s an app thing or if my iPad reacts to changes i may have made to my iPhone version if the app? How odd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Cheers guys. I’ve tried all of the iPhone settings for Tapatalk. Reset phone. Uninstalled Tapatalk. Reset phone again. Logged out and back in to FISD and UKG. Tried all of the setting within the Tapatalk app. Just nothing. I only know I have notifications because the emails still come through. :-( On a positive note, my wife will be pleased that my phone is going bzzz, bzzz, bzzz less and less [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Cheers mate. It’s been 4 days now so I think I’ve messed them up somehow. I think it’s the “unfollow” thing - justnhace no idea how to “follow” again... lol
  9. Hi all, Has anyone else lost their Tapatalk notifications over the last few days? I still get the email notification but no pop up on iPhone. I have uninstalled app, reinstalled, checked all notification settings etc. Something I may have done is selected “unfollow”. Before heading off in a two out journey on Saturday, I went to “mute” the pop up notifications to stop them interrupting sat nav (google maps), but I think I may have pressed “unfollow” instead. Thank in advance. Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Nice work mate. Looking good. :-) And don’t worry about the little bits - you’ll be trooping with us soon and one of our lovely spotters will help out. [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Great job!! Well done. :-)
  12. Hehe. Didn’t realise you were there at the weekend. Hope you had a good one. :-)
  13. Hmmm. Strange how they keep popping out then. As you say, you might be able to tuck them into the wrist of your undersuit. I think Velcro under your armour might be a pain when you try to prize the gloves off.
  14. When you’re in Imgur, check the option to “generate links”. For each image you’ve selected, you should then see around 5 link options. Look for the one for message boards and forums. Copy and paste and that link should show automatically in your thread. :-)
  15. Hiya. Congrats on getting your kit. They’re great fun to work with. If you message T-Jay(TK) he’ll give you all the details. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/profile/19331-t-jay/ best wishes, Dan
  16. Congrats, trooper Dave. If you want to update your title on a PC, just hover over the title and you should get an option to amend it. If you're on Tapatalk, I believe you can go to the first post and you should see "edit post" or "edit title"
  17. Nice work guys. I go away for the weekend and when I get back things can be hovered over. Good stuff.
  18. Love it!! Great work, Mark. Especially like the colouring of the inner bolt. Very nicely done sir. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Very nice, Kenny. Good job. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hi all, Is there an open section on the forum where these awards/ribbons are explained? I'm thinking, if a new member signs up and sees ribbons and awards, etc, what would be the easiest way for them to look them up? Giving them something to aspire to and give them confidence in the advise that they are receiving. Perhaps when one hovers over a ribbon or award, a brief description could be displayed? "Centurion - awarded for the highest level of screen accurate armor" for example... Or, clicking on any award takes a person through to a list of what the awards mean. Now, for those awards with writing under them, a member could search the forum. For those ribbons with just colours, what does each one mean to an aspiring Stormtrooper? Whilst they look beautiful, it might be nice to know what that member has achieved. Just a thought. :-)
  21. Nice work, Dominic. Looking sharp. :-) Just a couple of little things that might come up as suggested tweaks: The smaller ab button (pictured right) could possibly be trimmed down a bit. Also, you might be asked to tighten the elastics on the drop boxes to bring them up to the belt. Great build. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
