1. I really would like a DLT-19 from them but Canadian border agents would trash that like it was a college house party. Being in Canada definitely has it's downfalls.
2. Yeah so I just got my invoice from fedex for the force awakens helmet I ordered.... 91$ Canadian.... Are you f'in kidding me??? The damn helmet was only 250$. That really makes me mad. I begrudgingly paid it but I can't believe it's. I paid nearly 400$ Canadian for it already between shipping and CAD to US exchange rate. So basically I paid almost 500$ for this stupid helmet.
3. In Canada, If the package is over 200$ usually, I get duty fees. Most I ever had was 120$ on a 1200$ item which was ridiculous... So I think it's around 10% for us. Could be more though, been a while since I had to deal with duty fees. (*Knocks on wood*)
4. Jim who posted on this thread makes the armour. You could shoot him a PM.
5. I'm 5'10.5" and 150 pounds... Little skinny dude but I plan on building a first order kit after my ANH TK. Have all the odds and ends except the armour. But yeah, seems to be pretty good leeway for sizing of a first order trooper. As long as it fits your body, it's good to go.
6. So far so good. Keep the updates coming!
7. I've only saw it twice so far but I have been itching to see it a third time. I have a friend who has saw it 5 times already. Now that's commitment lmao.
8. Can't wait til the movie comes out for purchase! I want to see it again but don't want to pay for the theater anymore lol.
9. I'm very glad I have ordered from you! Can't wait to get my armour.
10. That looks actually amazing!!! That guy has some serious lego crafting skills.
11. Exactly, however if they take someone when they are a kid and the kid only grows to be 5'1" I wonder if they would give them a different job then a soldier. Like maybe they assign him a job as a weapons cleaner or something. There's definitely an "ideal height" imo.
12. In the FA, they should vary since they aren't clones. There very well could be a 6'5" trooper for all we know in the Force Awakens.
13. Yeah definitely not recommended to sit in these things, For the amount we pay for them, I really don't like the idea of risking a crack or brake in the plastic.
14. I wouldn't mind possibly capitalizing on an Ebay special
15. Thanks for the advice guys. I may just go and do that then.
16. I didn't pay much attention to the ship style the first two times I saw it. I'll pay closer attention on my third time.
17. Only people I know of building the kits are Anovos, and Jimmiroquai on here.

I believe Jim is 501st approved with his armour but not sure if he had to change anything with his armour design to get that.

Your best bet would be PM'ing him or waiting for the Anovos kit to surface imo.
18. Yeah definitely do your research before you go out and buy a crap quality eBay knock off

Vetted sellers all dish out good products.
19. Yeah but for you it should cost you less to buy it because your dollar to our dollar is astronomical right now. We are at 72 cents to your dollar lmao.
20. Btw, is the spring supposed to be left silver or should it be black?
21. I have been dealing with Mark at AP since I just purchased the armour from him. So far he's been great and communicates well and asnwers my annoying questions. If you are within Canada, it's a great place to buy from... Saves the USD exchange rate, shipping, customs and the all around wait time.
22. I do have a home hardware here and went and picked up some random wire since I couldn't find a suitable spring... I don't really need the spring ability, just need it to look like it is a "real spring" so I kinda made my own. It should be fine since I don't actually plan on making the cocking action work. Couldn't find anything in the right size to twist it around until I stumbled upon a highlighter lmao. It's not great looking but I am hoping it should work.
23. Lmao. Okay works for me. I bought some wire that I'll spray paint and probably just make my own spring then.

Thanks for the suggestion.
