Hey guys, I currently have an E-11 blaster I purchased from a guy within Canada and it's great. But I am really looking for other blasters like the DH-17 and the DC-15A Clone trooper rifle and have no idea where to get them. I wish I was in the States so I could purchase the HFx ones because they are super sexy but I am not. Canada has crappy import laws so I am forced to find options within Canada. So does anyone know where I could buy them?

Why specifically 65 days? Lmao.

Yeah I'm just hoping they at least give us a ball park time on when we may see the kit come out for release.

Child Biker Scout Armor and TFA Trooper Armor
Cladius replied to dbetters's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
If you want to order a kit, I know Walts Trooper Factory on Facebook does a biker scout for kids.

In regards to a first order separate forum, no it's here. There is a Force awakens sub forum a little down from here. You can find a lot of info on all the posts there.

And as far as I know it's hard to find FO armour right now. I only know of one person who makes it currently on here. -
I wonder if the paint didn't have time to properly cure before the person decided to box it up and ship it. When I purchased mine, the seller waited 2 days after the last coat of paint to ship so it had time to fully cure. But with that paint job, I would be contacting the seller and saying he really messed up.

AP armour is what I went with as well. Very good choice on your part.
-
Who did you purchase the kit from?

Last time I got files from here, they were all lumped together. It was the files for the F-11D blaster and I don't think it was a problem. My friend was the one who printed and just did part by part in order.
-
Looks like it's coming along nicely. Great handiwork!

As long as I can see out of the lends that AP provides I will be happy.

The Anovos First Order helmet I have has the worst lens imaginable in it. I can barely see and everything is distorted.

Fromtheshadows ANOVOS TK WIP

Good luck with the build and make sure to ask questions! -
Yeah that may have been the case. We'll find out some day I'm sure.
-
I want these files too!!! It's hard to get these in Canada so making one myself seems like the only option I have.
-
I got my First Order helmet in from Anovos and the lenses are indeed horrible... I wonder if they didn't care because they thought most people would be using them as display pieces or something? But either way, I basically can't see anything due to the distortion which is a huge no-no for me. Not sure why Anovos did this knowingly.
-
I remember someone saying Anovos was making the Rogue TK's... But either way I am excited for Rogue to come out. There will be a different feel to the movie since it's based more on the soldiers then the Force heroes.

Darth Voorhees coming back home...

Welcome back to the trooping world man. -
If you are in Canada. you contact Mark at AP he can give you the info for a guy named Brett who makes blaster. 170$. HFX is a good maker for people in the States... Very solid looking blasters of all types (ie: E-11, DLT-19 etc). Doopydoo makes a conversion kit for the toy blasters so there are quite a few options.
-
You can't go wrong with the blaster made in Canada. I too have one and they are pretty decent. Just have to make your own spring and bolt and touch up the paint with some weathering. But for 170$ Canadian, you can't go wrong. Ordering from the States means there is a good chance your item will be seized and destroyed at the border. No matter how you label it, they will see it as a replica firearm which violates our import laws. Best be safe and stick with Canadian goods if you ask me.

There are plenty of build threads on here. Getting the kit trimmed is always a good way to start but of course, getting your supplies in order is good too. I'll leave a more detailed answer for the people who have built many more kits lol.
-
If you are Canadian AP Armour is the way to go. Wait time is usually 2-ish months for a completed ready-to-wear set of armour and if you want just the kit, it will be shorter then that.
-
Yep. You can get some heavy rubber ones from Imperial Gaskets (I think they are more movie accurate) but they are essentially the same as far as I know as a regular TK.
-
Exactly... It's definitely not a priority for them right now.
-
I don't expect it to be for quite some time in all honesty.

Well our Canadian dollar compared to a US dollar is 70 cents... It's been dropping steadily and it's supposed to hit as low as 58 cents to the American dollar. I can't afford to buy anything outside of Canada at this point and all the best trooping gear is in the States or the UK. :/ It's kinda ridiculous.
