  1. Welcome to the FISD. It is great to see you starting a build thread. Post up lots of photos with any questions you may have. The FISD is a great group, and we have plenty of willing troopers to lend a hand a long your journey! Welcome brother.
  2. This is simply incredible. The time and love to detail that is going into this is remarkable and inspiring. I agree in Shea in hopes we could obtain a list of parts you used for us to maybe give it a go one day. keep it up. I can't wait to see it finished. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

  4. I don't use photobucket anymore. But if you don't use Facebook, you can try another image hosting site. Try these: 1. Imgur 2. Google (yes, upload them to your Google drive and you should be able to use it the same was as Facebook) 3. Flickr 4. TinyPic Only a few. But tons are out there.Hopefully one works out better than Photobucket. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
  5. It is good to see you on the FISD and glad you got those cards. Since that pack is dirty, it seems only fitting to me that the rest of that armor should get scuffed up
  6. Another program to achieve more EPIC TK's !? oh.. well, that is EPIC!
  7. Joseph is 100% correct. (like their were any doubts) Sign up for the Spec Ops detachment. They have a lot of information regarding the Shadow TK. *cough* TX

  15. I'm pretty sure I met all the staff at our lunch around 2 thanks to Joseph. I regretfully didn't get many photos with you as much as I would of hoped.. Kept running into PY---RAY--T--EEES. Which is really just a fancy name for Pirates. lol. Hope to see more photos!------------------------
  16. I have an AP/RT-MOD mix currently. I'm a bigger trooper as well, and sitting at 5'11" ~225lbs. I started with AP, but soon realized that the armor did not fit me as well in the chest/shoulder bell area. As result.. Gaps were large. Now, keep in mind.. If you do decide to go with AP.. You will get approved.. No problem.. But again, everyone is different and all depends how you cut, shape the armor. I find that the RT-MOD fits my body type much much nicer and he is actually rather good on time and parts... I suggest doing what is right. Always pick the right armor for you and your body type. In the end, it is up to you.. But when purchasing armor.. You want to be sure it will fit you well and not have to go back and replace/upgrade parts after an initial purchase. I'll attach my AP vs RT-Mod photos for reference. Keep in mind my body type. Difference is noticeable. But my chest and shoulders sit better (imo) Both are great makers.. And both are great choices. You can't go wrong with either.. It is up to you entirely. AP RT-MOD Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

  18. I use snaps for my build. But have seen Velcro or a combination of both. Use both for optimal security of the belt. But I have not had any problems with my 2 snaps. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

  22. A handler or squire is someone who comes a long when you are trooping. Handlers/Squires are cadets or members of your garrison who do not dress up to help look out for your safety! They warn you of potential hazards, like a crack on the sidewalk. or if a small child is in your blind spot. (us troopers have a lot of those spots) lol They also help you get suited up! They are part of the team!
  23. I wouldn't go near that...personal opinion. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
  24. Glad you made it to EIB Andrew. We will see you at the Centurion ranks soon. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
