TK-22788 Requesting ESB Centurion Status [AP] [327]

Good luck with it. I've just finished an ESB "add on" build so I can switch between ANH and ESB for the same suit. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk -
Congrats on getting approved. Your suit looks great and from what I can see in the picks you surely are very close to EIB at least. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk

Good to see you aiming for Centurion from the start, especially in replacing the belt and strapping. From the Anovos builds I've seen, and helped build, both are pretty rubbish as supplied and best to replace as you have done. Only thing I haven't noticed is if you've also got the s-trim needed for the helmet neck trim, if going for Centurion? It can also be had from Trooperbay if you don't already have it.

Coming along well Brian. Nice work! Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk

My First Build - ANH Stunt
Haso replied to Bloodhound's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Just found your thread here again Josh. Ha! I just left a comment on the local boards for you too. Helmet's coming along great. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk -
For the eyes i use a half-round rasp. It gives you good control but also chews thru a bit quicker than files. I find the round side good. Then i use those micro files and some sandpaper to finish any close trimming. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk

I've found with the two AP buckets I've built that the ears fit pretty good just trimmed to the score lines....after a little extra trimmed along the bottoms to help them sit flush, and at the mid-point where they bend. The gaps left between bucket and ears are pretty much then on par with screen used buckets. So not too much fuss about getting them perfect. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk

ESB Shoulder Straps for Centurion
Haso replied to Haso's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Thanks guys, I'll leave mine as is then. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk -
Hey all, Like most of the TK's here I run with the ANH stunt version, but I am in the process of doing an ESB 'Add on' to my ANH suit so that it can be interchangeable between the two. It's fairly straightforward to do: a new bucket including ESB decal trimmings, new canvas belt and holster, new handplates and gloves, and modding my second E-11 (I can swap out scopes, counter and power cylinders to configure it between versions as needed). However, I'm looking at the changes to the shoulder strap area - the plastic straps that is. I'm aiming for a Centurion-level ESB mod, so the CRL reads like this: For level three certification (if applicable): These shall be glued in front. These shall be affixed in the back (no snaps, rivets or brads shall be visible). The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. It's the second point I need some clarification on - I'm seeing recent Centurion approvals where it appears the back of the straps are not affixed to the back plate - is this correct? I'm inclined to use velcro to affix the back end, and just peeling it off the back plate if moving to the ANH version, i.e. following the CRL, but it seems this particular checkpoint is not failing Centurion apps either way? Or has this just been a very recent change?

Good luck. Great to see you on the brink of Centurion! Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk -
Hey mate the sniper knee plate will be easier to attach if you lose most of the return from underneath it. I draw the score lines for the bottom from inside the plate and cut to those. Top returns can be kept ad you've done. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk

Hey mate. I have snaps for my shoulders as well. Your RS has the screen accurate poppers. Neither are terribly difficult to do. Either hand sew the poppers back, or grab some snaps, have a practice with setting a couple first on some scrap elastic, and do those. Sent from my SM-J100Y using Tapatalk
