  1. I think he's just generalizing.
  2. I feel sorry for the Star Trek guy, nobody was showing him ANY attention! Sweet suit Boba!
  3. Working on a TE2 lid, and repairing an ATA lid.

  4. That's pretty sweet looking!
  5. Love it! Found a typo though, please don't blast me! J
  6. Looks pretty good! Can you also give us a straight on shot just to be sure? Like this:
  7. ATA lids are pretty awesome!
  8. Looks like an early AM lid. Love the shirt BTW.
  9. More reference photos for ya!
  10. I like the top the way you have it, but would definitely trim back the ears and eyes a little. Stripes ARE too low, should be a pencil width from the sides. Other than that it's coming together quite well! Jess
  11. Thanks for sharing! In the process of building my sterling/E-11.
  12. My humble collection (below). I have a EpIII Vader Helmet by MR, but wasn't sure if that counted or not? Anyhow... -----------
  13. All lids are made that easily, he obviously just hasn't invested in professional vacuum forming equipment. But that doesn't necessarily mean that the suit isn't any good. Do any of us even know what kind of equipment any of the makers use, I don't... And honestly I could care less... All I care about is that it looks great, it's not a recast of someones else's hard work, it's screen accurate, and it holds up while trooping. Look does a more expensive brush make someone a better artist? No! I'm really not trying to stick up for the guy... I'm just trying to Persuade us to think differently about all this.
  14. I remember that. For what it's worth... I just added my 1st TE2 lid to my collection (now 5 lids), and couldn't be happier with it. I do admit that the armor in the video (especially the chest plate) seemed a bit flimsy to me.
  15. Looks great, fits good too! I would curve the shoulder straps a bit though. Warm them up a bit and bend them a little, they stick straight out a bit. Just my two cents as they say. Other than that awesome job!

    vt armor

I have two VT lids, and I love 'em. Two more cents. Here is a review on my 1st VT lid.
  17. Yeah it does. I use plumbers putty on a lot of my lids/armor, etc. Stinks just as bad, but really great stuff though.
  18. Well, for what it's worth... I really like both of mine. The guy shipped them pretty quick, check out my fist VT build on the quality. The only thing I didn't like were the mic tips that it came with. I later switched those out with Keith's mic tips.
  19. That's my 1st VT lid (I now have two) THIS is my second VT build. I like them, although... I did not realize (at the time) that they were a recasting of someone else's lids. That kinda makes it a bittersweet deal now for me personally, but they are decent looking lids. Jess
  20. Does this look better to you guys?
