  1. No problems, just be careful, because it bonds almost instantly.
  2. This works incredibly fast and strong.----------
  3. Great research Shane and looking forward to watching your build. Just have a question about where you are getting your blaster from? I didn't think Hyperfirm shipped outside of the US?
  4. Looking good mate, just wondering, did you stick something under the ab button plate to pack it out in order to stick it to the ab plate?
  5. I found Photobucket to be the easiest way to add photos to your thread.
  6. Good work. I wouldn't worry too much about those little nicks. You will probably end up getting rid of most of the return edge, and the one on the side will be covered by a cover strip. Cover strips are awesome, they are hiding so many mistakes on my kit!
  7. Just on this, once you're approved, you only need to do one troop a year to keep your membership current. However, I can pretty much guarantee once you do one troop you will find yourself making time to do more. Moving family birthday arrangements around so they fit in with troops, organising days out so 'coincidentally' there is a troop close by...
  8. I got it from here:https://www.rcworld.com.au/deluxe-perfect-plastic-putty.html But if you have a decent hobby shop near you they may have it. Sent from my GT-N8010 using Tapatalk
  9. I was a bit scared about sticking anything to my boots to stop my shins riding so I did this instead.<br> <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss103/scott_gray4/IMG_5133_zpshlomhjby.jpg'>http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss103/scott_gray4/IMG_5133_zpshlomhjby.jpg</a><br> A bit of adhesive felt inside the shin should stop scuffing the boots as well.
  10. Anovos have only just started releasing their kits, and so far, none have been approved for the 501st. While the kit looks ok, and it probably won't be long until some are approved, the sellers on the list here have proved reliability and quality product over a long period of time.<br> The other point to note is that Anovos aren't currently taking orders for kits and it is unknown what price point they will come back at.
  11. Hi Nick, the original post on this list is always kept up to date. A lot of the vendors don't have webpages so that may be why you can't find anything about them.<br> If you want to see photos of their kits, check out some of the build threads and EIB/Centurion applications.<br> Cheers,<br> Scott
  12. I used this to fill the seam and also an accidental extra screw hole in my eFx bucket, it worked fine, but it takes a few goes as it seemed to shrink a bit.
  13. Hi Devon,<br> Congratulations on getting your kit!<br> Yes, those boots are fine, you could also look at TKBoots.com.<br> Yes, that blaster and a Doopydoos conversion kit will be ok for basic approval. They are a great little trooping blaster, kids love the lights and sounds. Please note though, if you want to shoot for the higher levels you will need to get a more accurate blaster.<br> I can't watch the video at the moment so can't help you there.<br> The iComm and Aker amp from voice booster.com are excellent.<br><br> We all started where you are, so start a build thread, do your research and make sure if you can't find a definitive answer to something, that you ask lots of questions!<br> Good luck!
  14. If you struggle to find the rivets, I think justjoseph63 is selling a pack at cost, I don't think Echo can get them anymore.
  15. I have attempted my first ear, and am ok with the result, but would like to make it a bit better, mainly to get rid of the gap at the back, some advice here would be awesome. I think if I just smooth the curve on the front a touch that will be ok. But, I'm not overly happy with the gap at the back.
  16. Also, it's usually best to do your fitting with your compression gear on, you may find it isn't as tight with it.
  17. Not so much a horror story, but wanted to share....<br> My wife and kids were watching me troop when a lady came up and put her arm around me for a photo.<br> Our 10 year old daughter turned to my wife and very firmly said "Mum, you said we weren't allowed to get upset when Dad played with other kids, so you aren't allowed to get upset when he plays with other women! "
  18. Personally, I would probably go with the speakers, but the only reason for that is because I don't like having ear buds in my ears for a long time.<br> If earbuds don't bother you (remember you could easily be trooping for a few hours), then I would say go with the ear buds because they would be better at cancelling out extra noise.
  19. Sorry, I wasn't clear, I'm not against paint, I'm just incredibly bad at it.<br><br> Ukswraths system: <br> <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32487-ukswraths-stormtrooper-hearing-assist-system/'>http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32487-ukswraths-stormtrooper-hearing-assist-system/</a>
