    Yeah the cuffs turned out ok...but not great. I think of them as prototypes and going to try again at a later date. Would like to make them out of metal, just figuring out how to do the locks will be a challenge.

    I had been looking at a case at Walmart but going to check that one out at Home Depot. Very nice!

    Starting work on binders. Have a few ideas I'm gonna try. Got 3" PVC pipe today and gonna start work on it today.

    Purchased an iComm, Aker and wireless transmitter. Already tested it out and can't wait to add it to my uniform. Gonna be a wait since it's not in production yet, but hopefully will have it all by the end of December.

    I almost bought from that site. After doing research and taking a closer look at the costumes, I chose to go elsewhere. Poor quality.

    Can that case hold a DLT-19? Didn't know if it was long enough.

    Very interesting. I figured it was possible but want to be careful as well so that I don't end up cracking the armor. Figured I'll be mostly on my feet, but I'll keep in mind to take a knee every so often to rest up. Thanks for the info and help!

    may sound silly but curious since i don't have my suit yet, but curious if you can sit on a chair in full costume. i wouldn't be surprised if there were some armor bites ill experience there but couldn't find any topics on this subject at all. i'm up and down all day at work since i work in a doctors office and plan on suiting up for a day at work and was curious if i'll be standing all day. (there's a daycare right down the hall from us i'm planning on visiting while suited up)

    i'm 36 and just purchased my first tk uniform and looking forward to becoming a part of this family. i've been laughed at a great deal already by friends and family but it's not discouraging me at all. this is a life long dream about to come true and can't wait to get things started and trooping for as long as i can. we are all kids at heart and making our dreams come true. i for one love the support i've already received and would back anyone that wants to join up at any age.

    I saw this on facebook and it has really inspired me to join the 501st. When talking about Star Wars, so many of my coworkers have laughed at me for the idea of joining. Her story as really made me proud and inspired me to purchase a uniform and get out there to help others. Amazing story and a community I would love to be a part of. Awesome job from all those who helped her out and supported her!
