  1. Chrome books are not too bad. Cheap price and work well. Only downside I heard is their apps are all Google, but I've never heard anything bad there. HP's are ok, but watch the connector cables since the company switches them up a lot. Had that issue with my wife's and couldn't find a replacement.
  2. Suit ready for trooping!!

  3. Agreed. Stay away from originalstormtrooper.com. I almost made that mistake in the beginning to. Use the resources here. Take your time, and yes, it gets expensive, but in the end, it's all worth it.
  4. Great pics Joseph!!! Looks like tons of fun!!!
  5. Added a fan and glued in my frown screen on my bucket today. Nearing completion!!!

  6. Very cool and I want one too!! (My wife will kill me though)
  7. Hello Brandon. Speaking from some experience and the same enthusiasm, I purchased a full commission from RS prop masters. Some pieces fit and many didn't. I purchased mine back in Aigust and now almost complete with trimming and re-strapping. It's a process but from what I learned, purchase a kit. As cool as it is to get the ready to wear stuff, I had a lot of obstacles. When I torn it apart and started fixing and trimming, it was actually very fun and educational. It's not a fast process and can test your patience, but it is worth it.
  8. Yeah nothing yet. I remade all the strapping and actually fits far better now. Left in the original white bridge straps since those were good and snug but switched the button out since that would hold the arms. Just have to trim up the legs then all finished. Been an interesting experience to say the least, but still fun and lots of learning.
  9. Fixing and re-adjusting my armor from RS. In need of PVC cover strips for the back of the thighs. Have not been able to find anything close locally and have not heard back from RS as of yet, but wondering if anyone has any I could purchase or if using ABS would work just as well. I figured there might be a slight color difference if used ABS, but just seeing if anyone had PVC. Thanks, Ben
  10. This was great and the first time I saw an honest trailer. Spent the next hour watching a bunch of them. Great post!

  17. Hey Nick welcome to the FISD! I can speak with the little experience here, I also ordered a full commission from them. I received my arm or just a few weeks ago, but the torso and thighs were too large for me. I contacted them and they are rebuilding them. The shins and arms were perfect with my measurements. I think something went wrong with the torso and thighs, but the owner Rob is rebuilding them now for me and will be sending them out shortly. The quality was really good in the sizing match perfectly on the pieces that I did receive. There are some tweaks here and there that you will need probably such as the length of the elastic. Most of them are small things here and there. As with anything, nothing is ever perfect. Hope that helps and don't be too nervous. Anything that goes wrong with it they do correct. I sent them my measurements in inches and in centimeters just in case.
