  1. I might have to dig out my mould taken from a pair of original ROTJ TK Bubble lenses.......Looks like there may be some call for them. Just need to get my workshop finished.... SOOOOOOOOOON...........
  2. Any licences product will be sanitised to a certain extent. If the original helmet was scanned I'm sure it would have been cleaned up. You are never going to get a licenced company to give you drips and chips like the set for stun scan. It ain't gonna happen. The asymmetry will still be there but it will be clean.
  3. I just rivet them on with a single rivet in each clip. As far as I know this is accurate.
  4. You need to paint the soles of your boots white too. <br> Also have you gait a strap between the inner forearm and bicep and a strap to the hand plate.
  5. I have had smaller women successfully fit my armour. Personally if you are concerned about materal then ABS is the best as it's more flexible than HIPS. YOU WILL NEED: Stanley blade or Exacto knife Ratchet clamps Sanding block Lex an scissors Magnets to clamp parts the clamps won't reach. Glue of your choice. I use liquid solvent as I find it's quick and clean and very strong. Elastic for strapping Velcro Seeing machine Paints Brushes Rivet gun and rivets Poppers and setting tool It's a good idea if you have anyone local to get together with to help from your local garrison etc. as it's a little daunting starting out. Cheers! And good luck!
  6. Looking good Trooper..... Another ROTJ in the Jersey ranks!

  9. I'm Only Doing What I've Done For The Last 8 Years Or So? Photobucket Generates A Link To The Image Which I Copy And Paste. It's NEver Not Worked Before?
  10. But It Does Not Display The Picture Nor Does The Post Display The Link I Posted? It Just Displays A Link Back To This Thread?
  11. This Is A Link To A Pic In My Photobucket. -----------
  12. I'm trying to post pics but for some reason the link I post is not the link that's displayed when I submit the post?
  13. You can cut a fair bit more out the eyes.
  14. Good to see you getting stuck in. Looking forward to seeing more.
  15. what are they having for Christmas dinner and what's their weirdest question they've been asked at a convention.
  16. I agree with you Paul. All the pics I've seen also have curled shoulder straps so it's really hard to tell if they had poppers under there. I personally have never had a problem with them being velcroed and as Velcro is there already just assumed that's how they were fixed. I have always used elastic with Velcro sewn on the closing side and glued the fluffy Velcro to the armour and elastic glued on the other.
  17. since the Star wars costume book came out with pics with the internal strapping things have changed from what I used to use. It was really up to artistic interpretation and what was said by people trying to remember all those years ago before...... Paul's strapping is pretty spot on although I have not seen evidence of poppers under the shoulder straps except on tour suits? If this is the case and Paul has seen this first hand, who am I to argue... I always thought they were secured with velcro under the bridges. I love all the new discoveries and that's what keeps this hobby fun........
  18. Can I use that pic to show other buyers what they can do with my armour? Do you have any others?
