  5. You can cut a fair bit more out the eyes.
  6. Good to see you getting stuck in. Looking forward to seeing more.
  7. what are they having for Christmas dinner and what's their weirdest question they've been asked at a convention.
  8. Congrats mate. Glad to hear it.
  9. I agree with you Paul. All the pics I've seen also have curled shoulder straps so it's really hard to tell if they had poppers under there. I personally have never had a problem with them being velcroed and as Velcro is there already just assumed that's how they were fixed. I have always used elastic with Velcro sewn on the closing side and glued the fluffy Velcro to the armour and elastic glued on the other.
  10. since the Star wars costume book came out with pics with the internal strapping things have changed from what I used to use. It was really up to artistic interpretation and what was said by people trying to remember all those years ago before...... Paul's strapping is pretty spot on although I have not seen evidence of poppers under the shoulder straps except on tour suits? If this is the case and Paul has seen this first hand, who am I to argue... I always thought they were secured with velcro under the bridges. I love all the new discoveries and that's what keeps this hobby fun........
  11. Can I use that pic to show other buyers what they can do with my armour? Do you have any others?
  12. Are you meaning the folding stock? If so its secured behind the grip with the e clips and I believe it's secured at the front with the metal pin supplies in the bag.
  13. I found a few more pics that show the differences in assembly..... anything goes!
  14. Congrats my friend.
  15. Stelmax is essentially a liquid plastic. Once it sets it is plastic. As it has a solvent in it it also melts the surface it's in contact with and melts with its own structure to complete the bond.
  16. I wonder what that is?

  18. I'll get back to you on the other bits just busy today....
  19. Looking good Bryan Nice clean edges. You have the JoeR helmet. The eyes and teeth can be cut out quite a bit.
  20. So how many bed members have we got since Anovos released their TK? Lol
  21. The score and snap works better on 2mm than thinner plastics. I use 2mm and that's what I've shown in the video. But hey, each to their own. I just showed how after 6 plus years of trimming armour how I have found the best cleanest quickest method that works for me. If power tools is your thing crack on. Everyman loves a power tool, I just don't think it's necessary for trimming armour. That's my point of view. You will all have your own favourite methods that work best for you.
  22. If you have a photobucket account or similar hosting site you can upload pics to there and get a link to the pic and post that.
  23. I can trim a whole suit in about 1.5 hours using a stanley knife blade. Score and snap. It's the cleanest fastest method to trim armour. I know I have far more experience than most. when I form on the large sheets I can roughly trim out 3-4 suits in about 2 hours using this method.
  24. What a long winded way of trimming armour! Lol
