My old SDS liner has gone yellow and that was Blue to start with.

I think you'll find the foam is standard 1/2 inch upholstery foam. The original photo is further away and the foam may have compressed over the years. The foam in mine will yellow after a few months too. You could just leave the liner outside for a while and it should start to look like the original very quickly.

Ok, What do you think guys? It's not glued in place yet and the foam needs to yellow with age but not bad eh??? It's as close as I can get using todays products......

Also not all the shoulder bells were pinched in. It seems to vary from trooper to trooper.

Mark, there is reference that foam was used on the shoulder bells too.

I found these. Although they are not entirely accurate they are close and great covers for your rivets on the side of the Ab plate. What do guys think? I they are any good I'll offer them up in the sale section.

I've pretty much strapped my suit as per diagram...... I'm also a step closer to making some accurate helmet liners....... Still got some playing around to do but hopefully have something to show in the next week or two.......

The one thing that stands out to me wrong is the forearms.... The square details on the front should run all the way to the end ending in a half square at the wrist.......Not sure if that's going to affect any clearance or not? Other than that nicely done!

I've just got back from a great day with the UKG at the Space Centre in Leicester. I took my weathered TK up there fro morel support and met Pete(Stuka), Billy (Billhag), Gary(Batman89), Mark(Fireblade), John Danter and all the other guys.... Had a ball, thanks everyone for being so welcoming..... It was great seeing kids eyes light up at seeing there heroes and foes in the flesh, must do it again soon.....

Ha ha, funny you should say that Keith. I had the very same idea. My brother is a wiz on Photoshop and we are going to do just that.

Thanks for all your words of praise lads! This has been a labor of love getting this right, I think you'll agree that I have the look........? I still think there are a couple of tweaks here and there to make it the perfect set of ROTJ armour but you get the picture.

None in particular, I just thought that people were interested in seeing more. I posted up the helmet that I had worked on all weekend for you all to see more and no-one said a thing..... That's all. Maybe I was expecting too much...... I'll get back to work strapping this thing together.....and get it in one piece for you all to see....
