Hello Anovos?

I love my TK’s and stocked up on a few pairs before they were out.

I have the Acker and Icomm and they work good but I have gotten tired of all the wires and the crappy mic that comes with it. When I have some extra money I am going to try the system from Tony @ukswrath here. It is self contained in your helmet and pretty slick.

It’s become a reverse race for me, what will arrive last, my Anovos Kylo or Anovos FOTK. Apparently either way I loose. Lol.

Just keep waiting.

For the F-11 it’s not that hard. Wash really good with hot soapy water then scuff it up and rattle can it. Som clear would help with durability. Pretty much the same as resin blaster.

I would totally agree with you on allowing the hinge for durability, ease of use and not painting however given there is no cannon proof it probably will just be a nice dream. We better start looking at some high def screen shots of the TLJ troopers and Executioner. Maybe the hinge is there afterall?

I’m already thinking aluminum for support and shoulder bells then Devcon Plastic Welder II sand and paint.

The real question is how much is Tony@ukswrath going to charge us to do a how to on how to fix this seam? Lol.

Yes, with enough supporting evidence and staff approval the CRL can be revised and they do evolve over time.

So then I guess the biggest issue is per basic approval, Back/Yoke The back plate contains a "O II" design where the O is black. The back/yoke is one seamless piece. The yoke portion extends over the wearer's shoulders and curves under the armpits. With a seam, joint or hinge it wouldn’t be, “one seamless piece”.

Ok, now I understand. Looks like we’ll have to get creative to loose the seam. I’m sure Anovos isn’t concerned with us meeting the CRL requirements. I think they would have been better leaving it like the Alpha kits. This new overlap seam looks like a real cracking point and harder to fill.

So the seams will have to be filled and painted just like all the other armor joints that aren’t supposed to be visible just like all other kits? I hope nobody assumed this would just be slap together with no fillers and painting and get immediate approval. That’s an unrealistic assumption no matter what Anovos claims. Are you talking about directly over the shoulders where the back and front look like they overlap?

Although at this point I have no love for Anovos I will say that we shouldn’t pick apart the model assembly quality. I am sure they slapped this together for pictures and as we all know it’s the assembly and fitting quality that determines approval and qualification level.

I thought the same thing, sounds like a few might go out but the majority will be after the two month break. Once again they are breaking their shipping time with previously all shipping by Celebration promise. What worries me the most is this comment here, "A two month pause will occur due to Chinese New Year but will resume immediately until all orders have been sent out throughout this year." So I am wondering does that mean we will have them in 2-3 months or just sometime before January 1, 2020?

I would agree. What I am trying to say is based on the synopsis for this show it is about the Mandalorian and the outer rim after the fall of the empire so I am sure it isn't just about TK's and not enough to worry too much about the consistency of the OTTK costumes.

And? The Mandalorian is 8 episodes. TFA was $308 million so don’t expect the Mandalorian to pull out all the stops. Remember this is the first live action tv series, not a huge budget feature film. Still, I can't wait so see what they do with what they have. Should be fun.

One thing is for certain, the more OTTK screen time the better for all of us.

I agree but you have to remember 99.9% of the audience can’t tell the difference.
