I get the Galaxy Edge, different supply chain thing and all the other Anovos BS but how the shi! does a 3rd party vendor get these out before Anovos to the original pre-order customers. WTF!!!! ANOVOS!

Well, they claimed they shipped 50 earlier in the year and there are 50 on Rise of the Resistance so could be.

Maybe they meant the next Celebration in Anaheim.

Just saw this on Facebook.... Nice they are actually communicating and a good sign. But, are they saying they are on the way to the port in China or on the ship and heading to the USA port because that could add weeks depending on the way it's worded. It sure sounds like their warehouse will not have them until the end of the year and if they are in containers already it doesn't take months for the ship to get from China to the USA. Also troubling they are already extending the wording into next year for delivery.

There will be a mix on the Mandalorian. Keep in mind that this is actually a TV series not a feature film. So Dave F. and John F. didn't have the huge budget per episode but wanted to make the most of what they had to work with to give us the best they could. At the last minuet John F. wanted "a lot more troopers" for a few scenes and they only way they could make it happen cheap and fast was to call on the 501st so that is why we got to be there. I am sure they used other cost saving methods like buying off the shelf props like the Spike buckets as their prop department was working hard also. Either way, it's going to be awesome with some really cool new characters and costumes. Exciting times! I know at Celebration they told us this was going to be a much grittier and harder series than classic SW. In their words it was going to be like the old western gunslinger movies but set in SW universe.

You are correct, I probably worded that poorly and was not directed at staff in particular. What I was trying to say is the CRL is the best interpretation for not only screen accuracy but consistency between all of us TK's. It is not meant to replicate the cracks, repairs or flubs on the screen armor. I was trying to say that some people get bogged down on the minutia when discussing the CRL like reinforcement that can't be seen or verified or things like exact dimensions for elbow gaps. The CRL is for the general, idealized trooper, not a specific trooper. So...BLa, Bla, Bla.. I was just saying that the 501st Mandalorians shouldn't have their own CRL since we were all just approved ANH TK's with different levels of build from Basic to Centurion so the CRL for them would be the standard ANH TK.

Ok, I understand and agree. Seems like they could just call it the TLJ helmet since the TFA was a completely different offering. When you say upgraded it makes me think of the Galaxy's Edge ones with the liner and stand.

Probably not. The CRL is meant to be a guide for consistency for a character and not an exact screen duplication. Most of us were approved ANH TK's so I assume that would be the CRL even for our group in the Mandalorian. Just because one person has FX doesn't make it a new CRL. This is just like the original ANH TK's that had broken armor or a leg on wrong would not be a separate CRL and approved costume. Now that particular trooper can have bragging rights and say that their TK is screen used but this doesn't mean it's a new canon costume and thus a new variant of the Classic Trooper. If every one of us was in FX armor then we would definitely be having a tough discussion on it being a new CRL and variant. I feel that at times even the higher up officers get confused on what the CRL actually is. We all need to remember that it is a requirement for continuity and best interpretation of the costume so that we all look basically the same and not an exact replica of the screen armor down to each crack and tape mark or even things that can't be seen. That level of detail is for the replica prop makers.

That’s two different helmets completely, TFA and TLJ, still doesn’t define “Upgraded”.

Any idea what (Upgraded) is referring to? Wouldn't that be a slap in the face if it was the same lined version from Galaxy's Edge? Although at this point it would be great if the deliver anything.

I am going to say Mandalorian because they actually look like the exist and the Anovos are vaporware and only prototypes and broken promises.

All’s good. But yes without sounding like a jerk which is going to be impossible there were different levels of armor accuracy within our group. I will admit that because of the SO Cal blaster ban I didn’t have my accurate E-11 with me so by the grace of an awesome fellow trooper he had a, I know shame on me, Rubies blaster that I borrowed. So there’s a little Easter Egg for you, find the trooper with the Rubies blaster.

Maybe “Only Extras” but we were front and center of the camera and the “actual cast extras” were in the background. Sounds pretty dismissive of us but maybe I’m just too sensitive because I was there.

Well it will be a tough question on a few levels. 1. It will be canon and so will those of us that were there. There are some continuity issues for sure since it’s supposed to take place after the fall of the Empire but the cast extras were Rogue One armor and we were ANH TK’s as far as I know. But I am not 100% sure every one of us was ANH. 2. We were technically extras but we were front and center and the actual extras were in the background. 3. I would suspect the CRL will be the standard ANH TK since that’s what was requested and per the Basic ANH CRL there are certain things not allowed like FX so I don’t see that changing. 4. Maybe there will be a Mandalorian variant like ROTJ but again I doubt it because we were all approved ANH TK’s. Maybe we will all become “Mandalorian Centurion “ ANH TK’s, LOL.

I think it depends on your build also. I am 6'3" and 200 lbs but thin and the Anovos fits me just fine.

So we had one of those guys that hits neighborhoods this week come through and try to paint house numbers on the curbs. Ours was looking pretty faded and my wife was interested in having it done. Hold the phone! I am self admitted cheap so I said I’ll do it myself. Now the guy did good work and it was pretty cool. Here’s our neighbors. So not to be outdone I got to thinking.... and found an image on google and a StarWars font and made a template. And ultimately had to represent my fellow TK’s.

Their BS story of separate supply chains is one thing but the more Disney ones I see the more it makes me mad at Anovos considering all we do is wait and they keep lying to us.

Pretty sure I am the only one still waiting since Anovos said that almost all would be delivered by Celebration 2019. Guess I'm just not lucky.

Sounds like their timeline is a bunch of crap as usual. So Disney has been waiting for years? Disney pre ordered before the Alpha and Beta kits and are being delivered something that’s TLJ and completely different? Oh wait, that’s the regular customers. The other big difference is that Disney is actually receiving product. There’s no way Disney was in the order pipeline before us.

That's great news! So now there are exactly 3 confirmed and shipped suits out of the 50 "shipped" months ago?
