  1. I'd say still go for the strap. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. Listen to the cable guy. It took me a bit to get on tapatalk, but it has solved many issues for me. The build is looking great. Still waiting on my ANOVOS kit, but it should be coming anytime now. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Same for the tk1636 videos. I read through Tony's build thread and it's definitely worth going through, but I'm better with the visual learning. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  4. Yup, it sure will. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah, he still goes through it because he strips and rebuilds the belt. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  6. If you haven't already check out tk-1636 on YouTube he does a great video series on an ANOVOS build. So glad they stopped prebuilding the belt. I heard they also fixed the bucket screws. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  7. That's awesome! Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. Much better than the hard hat liner. Was your belt assembled? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah heard that and they will also be doing away with the pre-built belt as well. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah that is sort of what I thought as well. Mine was right at the beginning of the December orders, December 20th so I'm right in there. Hoping to get a shipping notification soon. I'm pretty sure you're right about the orders being from when you placed and not paid off. I like to look at it as I may have ordered in December but I didn't fully pay until June I believe. So it's more like a six month wait as opposed to over a year, which it isn't quite there either. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  11. Still waiting on mine, but I've only had one delay so far and it's not quite a year since I put in my order. I also did the payment plan on it so realistically I've only paid it off 6 months ago. I was hoping to have it this year for the 40th anniversary, but it's alright. So far anyways. 12. Yup got the same email. Was hoping to get my kit and approved by year's end, luckily I'm patient. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  13. Yes tk-1636 does a very good build in those videos. I've watched them a few times beginning to end.
  14. Any word as to when or if we will be able to Tapatalk compatibility again?
  15. I may not be a Legion member yet, but I don't see why this is a big issue. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  16. That's really crazy, I thought I'd look and I can't find any s-trim anywhere. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  17. For the standard neck seal there's no determined number of ribs. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  18. That looks awesome! Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  19. Shin here it is.http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31404-supply-list-for-your-tk-build/page-1 Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  20. So finished my ribbing and did a test fit. I think it's still a bit too tall and not sure how snug it should be at the throat. Should it be a little loose or firm against the neck? Also I need to figure out how to add the dickie section. Luckily this is just my first attempt and won't go to waste as I will use it with my Hasbro Commander Wolf helmet I'm modding for display. Thoughts or insights from anyone will be appreciated.
  21. So made the first major mistake, got to my third rib and started going and it was looking good. Yeah then I got half way and forgot I hadn't done the other side's top two. Learning how to sew is a new venture, but then again so is costuming. So lesson learned. ----------------
  22. Just amazing. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  23. I still need to do the ribs and all but it is a prototype. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  24. So waiting for the grand BBB day from Anovos, Q3 delivery time, grain of salt and not holding my breath from what I hear. I digress though, so in waiting on that I've decided to start my neck seal using pandatroopers build as a guideline. I'm not really familiar with a sewing machine, but I'll give it a try. With that said if this is not the right place move it accordingly. So as I said using pandatroopers as a guide I went with a automotive headliner material and a four way stretch faux leather. Tips and help is appreciated this is all new to me.----------------
  25. You should be able to find it in any shoe store or department. Also you can get a clear polish. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
