  1. Yup pretty much the same thing I'm looking at Daryl. I appreciate the offer I'll shoot you a message about it shortly. Getting the thigh part going now. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. So this first picture is the left, I have no issues here other than needing to possibly trim some of the outer return edge. The other two are the right one from the elbow and wrist. The wrist isn't bad just the elbow end. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah most likely I will just used hot water. The heat gun makes me nervous and I also don't have use for one outside of this. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah I have a few points at the seams that are like this, but this is the worst of them. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  5. Will do Daryl. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  6. Well I don't think I did they measure out the same and as I said if I push it to a circular shape it fits fine. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  7. I'll also get one of my right forearm for better clarity of that issue. Yes I have faith in my future brothers and sisters. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. Alright then thanks Daniel and yeah sleep and then a quick test fitting and photos. Better to get answers with photos. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  9. You mean the return edge yes? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah it's gonna be rough because I will be sizing and firing myself. Plus I want to make sure of how the armor should naturally fit. Like, "Should the stop at the knee or above it? Will I or do I need to trim this down?" even after checking reference photos and the CRL ones it just wasn't clear where the thigh should stop. Better to ask and know then make drastic unfixable decisions. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. I think right now it's at about 5mm.
  12. I'll have to tape em up and get pictures once I make it home and get some sleep. I did throw them on briefly hence what brought the question up originally. However when I did'nt have much bending room and the back of the knee area was biting pretty good with just slightly bending the knee.
  13. I don't mean it in the literal sense but my right forearm is nearly almond shaped it fits tightly on top and bottom of my arm. Whereas I have nearly a inch or so to the sides. So I need to get it more circular for the comfort. If I pull the two halves in the fit is fine but if I don't very uncomfortable.
  14. So with that I can guess this is the same for all the joints? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks yeah it's a bit flatter than that. Most likely will need to hot water it. Okay yeah mine is resting right about mid knee. Good to know the points I may go the route of trimming out the rear of the knees though. I'll need to look for the reference pics of that, but isn't it just to the top of the ridge? 16. So a couple of questions. Does anyone have suggestions on reshaping forearms? I've come to the conclusion that I'll need to do this with my right forearm. It fits fine, but it ovals instead of being circular. I'll get pictures when I get home. The other is I'm really hoping to not have trim my thighs down, so where should the bottom of the thigh rest? 17. Man you're a life saver. Been Trying to find these for days.
  18. Thought about that and I have some scrap material from my neck seal that I could cover them with after to keep any jagged edges from digging and scoring into the ab piece. Thanks Tony. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah for some reason they didn't pull in like they should, they're secure enough, but yeah not sure how to deal with them. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  20. The rivet oddities. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  21. Looking good so far man, keep it up and from what I can tell the placement looks good. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  22. One other thing is I have a rivet post on one of the boxes that didn't make a clean break and part of the post is still in the rivet was thinking I may file or something to remove it. Also the supplied rivets for the belt didn't quite pull in (?) when I attached them, so they are sort of long and bulbous. I'll get pictures shortly just waking up and haven't had a chance to pull stuff out. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  23. So no pictures, but started by gluing cover strips to one side of biceps, still think I need to trim just a little more off the top of them before I put them together. Belt is 90% glued, drop boxes done, glued down the elastic to the boxes as well gluing down the top corners of the fabric to the plastic to keep from getting the droop. I'll need to get pictures but I'm having a hard time with the trimming of the thighs and shins. It seems the front where the 20mm cover strips go is really soft and I'm finding it difficult to find the lip to trim down to the 10mm per side. Test fit the main body and found I won't need shins and can close up the body with room, but not sure about the back and chest connection. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  24. Shore. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  25. If I get the opportunity for another kit I would like to do a ST kit. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
