  1. That was what I was thinking of doing. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks Tony. Had to pull my thigh apart unfortunately. I glued it and when I went to unclamp it realized I had a gap at both ends. Trimmed a little more and now it should be fine. I'll be re-gluing that tonight before work. Finally got my Chicago screws from anovos, two "sets" of them. Unfortunately it's really only three as one pair of them are just the post pieces. LOL! But that will be the last of my belt which leads me to a question. Do I need to do anything to keep them tight or are they okay on their own? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. I think I may need to warm the return edge on the right forearm to flatten it a little, but arms are complete. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  4. So I believe I can call my arms done. Just need to attach the bicep and forearm. This is my right arm, the one I had to reshape due to accidentally trimming a bit too much. It's a tight fit getting my hand through the wrist, but after I get through it fits well. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  5. So got out and got some supplies and started installing the brackets. I'm not sure I'll be able to use them, but it's not out of the question, just not sure. I'll find out definitely when I move to the ab. If they don't then I'll finish of the screws and then convert the strapping to the snap plates method and leave them for the look. 6. So in waiting for the E6000 to cure on my right forearm and thigh cover strips. I'm doing them one side at a time, lack of magnets and it also lets me not rush through. I decided it was time to tackle the ab/kidney section. So I drilled holes for the split rivets and snaps and then got those in, they're not pretty, but they're in and secure. 7. I agree the biceps do look a bit big and if meant the right side of the ab/kidney join it does look like it's overlapping. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah following ukswrath build thread I wasn't clear on it, but then once I go a little further down it became clear. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  9. Left arm completed. I may trim the return edge of the shoulder bells a little more. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. So doing the strapping from bicep to forearm. Does the elastic go to the inside or outside? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah it is only about 1/4" or so and the bond seems pretty firm. Still need to get it test fitted with my under suit on to be sure it isn't going to be an issue. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  12. So find myself in another quandry. Left forearm looks good, but the lower seam isn't meeting up at the return edge. Should I pull it and redo it or is it okay? It's on the bottom and unlikely to be seen, but not sure. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah no more heat gun for me to close a call on the forearm. I may trim just a hair off the top and bottom. By hair I mean 1 or 2 mm which is mostly remnant anovos line. Sanding may do better than cutting. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  14. I guess it's more like 5mm. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah mostly it is with the shins. I end up with like a 1/4" or 15-20 mm gap right in the middle. I'll dig it out and get a picture. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. So not sure this needs a picture or not, but my thighs and shins fit well with no real need to trim more. However the back of them don't line up great, the top and bottom butt together, but there's a slight gap in the middle and I'm not sure what to do. My concern is if I trim them more they'll be too tight. Any advice or ideas would be great. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  17. That was weird.
  18. Indeed. I noticed it happening and pull the heat and started blowing. LOL! Hahaha! Yeah I just threw them on really quick before getting ready for work so didn't have time to get the boots out.
  19. Same issue I have I'm hoping I won't need to clean up the teeth, because getting that mesh off will be a real pain. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  20. Slow going, but halfway through the forearms. Had a slight mishap with using a heat gun to reshape the right one. Luckily I caught it before it got too bad. Not happy about it but it's serviceable and doesn't stand out too much. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  21. Alright the plague has passed and feeling much better so time to get back at it. I think it is leg day and then I need to work out how to do the fitting and sizing of the body alone. The legs so far have been a 50/50 so far as ease goes. Any ideas of how I could manage this? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  22. I think I have mine at around 5mm all around I could be off a bit, but it's about that. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  23. Again thank you. Over all I'm pretty positive and optimistic still. Also still avoiding that right forearm. LOL! Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah I most likely will because of that and I hear the ears and this plate are the worst parts. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks! I know there will be some gap at the top and am expecting that. Man I don't know that I've ever been so Leary or full of doubts on a project as I am here, but slow wins the race and leave little room for errors. I am debating on doing a bit of shimming shimming for the plate as I go into the legs and the way they are fitting so far. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
