  1. I wouldn't go that much. I thought the same when I trimmed mine. However upon trimming I only had to trim 1/2" and then I trimmed the back of the knees and it gave me a lot more range of motion. The before and after. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. Looks pretty good. The big thing that stands out to me right off the bat is that your left thigh seems to be sitting a bit high. The same goes for your left forearm. It could just be a matter of adjusting but that is what stands out to me. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Great news and now to the building. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks Tino, yeah I'm not sure what happened with that. I think I could re-drill my second hole to straighten it or I could slightly tweak the bracket. I'll have to give it a look and see which one would be easier to do.
  5. ^^^^^^ Yup that right there.
  6. This thread has given me ideas for my own build. Going a bit slow though. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks Brian. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. Looking good.
  9. First coat of primer down. There's some issues, but I sort of like it as it can play into the whole re-issued weapon thing that we see in most militaries. You rarely ever get something new. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. Depends I used some of it. Mostly it is just okay. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. Like Dan said we can help with that. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  12. Listen to Dan you must, open a window you should. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  13. Yes and you can get all the way down into the corner. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  14. Oh I wouldn't recommend it. The stick I used I cut into an angle and it was some work on some parts. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. Welcome Mark. So far that all looks good. Remember never be afraid to ask questions. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. I used a craft stick, a.k.a. a popsicle stick, but you can also use a bit of scrap abs. The thicker pieces would be better for this. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  17. Looking good Sean. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  18. I'll do the counter, scope and rail separate as they are really the only parts that are loose. The rest is solid. So lots of masking for the main body since I plan on doing the hammered finish. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  19. So I got the scope and counter mounted to the rail. So I think off to primer now. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  20. I think in general no, but clear would seem to be a better choice because the white may not match your armor. Then if you had any showing it would be glaringly obvious. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  21. It's best to have nylon or abs there for more surface area so you get a better surface area to hold the snap. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  22. Hey Sean I'm not sure why I didn't think of this before, but there are some really good build and instructional videos out there. The first is building with TK-1636 and second is panda props both can be found on YouTube if your a more visual learner. They both helped me along with mine. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  23. Sure look for builds that use snap plates. I did brackets as it was screen accurate, but many do nylon webbing and snap plates. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  24. This might be a better angle for the magazine Tino. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
