  1. Thanks Tino and yeah I've been debating on if that was okay or if it needed more. I may sand it just a bit more. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. This right here Sean. I couldn't think of any better response Dan. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks Dan. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  4. So using the toothpick is it just chipping at the excess or using mineral spirits? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  5. This is a point that scares me almost as much as making that first cut. I do eventually want to eliminate the decals on my ANOVOS but man I'm not the strongest painter in some aspects.
  6. Hey I learned a few things from all you older troopers. So now I get to return the favor and I remember the odd ball things with the shins. I'm still dealing with them.
  7. I say this because one it will help better the shin and two it will tell you exactly where the tops will sit when you're wearing them. Some people trim out the top parts for mobility, but I can see where it could also help with the fitting of a bigger calf.
  8. If you have your undersuit and boots try them on with them all at once.
  9. Hope they help and good luck. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. Where I'm setting at now and I think it is pretty much ready for some primer. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. I've just acquired my armor tote and realized if I can get this to break down into two pieces it will fit. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  12. Two of the threads are cricket and I believe shashachu. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  13. I think typically shorter troopers take from the bottom of the chest and top of the ab, but not sure. There are several builds for this. Also on YouTube look up building with TK-1636 he's doing a serious now on just this. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah using a couple of different resources for that. Initially was just going to go with the HappyTrooper build, but it seemed to toned down. Then I found astyanax build and started following that one and using aspects of it. So far it has been an adventure on buildi g it. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. You can find it here if you're interested Brian. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/45280-rats-dlt-19-hybrid-pipescratch-build/&share_tid=45280&share_fid=44557&share_type=t Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. Eventually yeah, but I do have a scratch/pipe build going for a DLT-19. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks Brian and yes I'm looking forward to that part. There are certain aspects of the reference thread I wish I could do and perhaps one day I'll work out how to do them on mine. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  18. Yes pictures are popular around here, be prepared to take many. It just helps us to answer the questions better if we see what you are asking about.
  19. Hmm... This would be a good question for Tony (Ukswraith) or Joseph (justjoseph) I think. They are some of the guys that take those submissions, I think anyways. I would say reach out to either of them if they don't respond here. They would be a good resource for that answer in my opinion.
  20. Now that I've re-read this reply I realize what you meant by the D-ring. However I had to make that part flush it was really uneven and concaved. Also there wasn't any indication of an area where it should have been recessed so didn't realize it should have been. But if that is the worst of the opinion of this salvage job coming from one of the blaster reference guru's I'll take it as a win, again thanks Brian.
  21. Before they go on you just "Man this looks horrible." Then you get the strips on and it's a whole new thing. Glad it's going well Sean and keep up the good work.
  22. Hahahaha! Yeah about half of my pieces were missing their numbers too. But then again I made order in December and had the following January. So just over a year definitely a rush job from the stories I've read. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  23. I didn't think so either dan, but a couple of mine did. However I did have a bit of a time getting them separated so it may have been transferred from one to the other. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah usual, but my kit had quite a few of the strips that only had the protective film on one side. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks Brian. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
