  1. Absolute true. There's never a silly question or such a thing as "Too many" questions. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. Another helpful thing is that return edges are not required just in case you need the room in your thighs. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Yes but you went about it the right way for this kit. Use the Anovos lines then test fit and now you can go about fitting it to you. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi and welcome! Pictures are your best friend when asking specific part questions it helps everyone else to see the issue. However if I have understood everything here yes you will trim forearms (15mm or 7.5mm each side) and thighs (20mm or 10mm each side) to get the proper width for the cover strips. With the return edge It will depends, but remember you don't want any on the wrist side of the forearm. I think that covers it and always ask if your not sure. Good luck! 5. So now that I've been approved through my GML, still awaiting my official approval and TK-ID from the LMO, it's time to begin the electronics add one. Through the gracious heart of a fellow garrison member I now have this happy addition. Now to work it all out and get it installed. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  6. I've only heard about the issues never had one. I ordered a counter and from order to delivery was under two weeks and I received response to my emails fairly quick, under two days. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  7. Added foam to the left shin so that's solved and am thinking of adding a small piece to my right thigh. Yeah still waiting on my legion approval email. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. So with my approval and fixes/adjustments made any tips or feedback for any changes that need to be made for eib or centurion? I know that those are individually covered, but if I could get some ideas of changes I could work them out prior. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  9. I was going to say trim from the inside of the forearm but Dan beat me to it. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Tino, I have gone through that a couple of times now. I just couldn't recall if the whole scope was brass. The counter part was more for confirmation. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. So in cleaning and repairing I noticed that the very top t-track piece sits ever so slightly to the left. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  12. So quick update. Still need to do some clean up sanding on the charging handle, it's still a bit rough looking. Got the scope and counter primed. Did my best to clean them up, but could not clean up the top rear of the scope and hoping it will be minimized when I paint it. Speaking of paint. The end is the scope are brass and the center is just black right? Was the whole scope brass or just the ends? Now with the counter the side with the counter window was grey plastic and the plug end is brass right? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  13. Looking good so far Taylor. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  14. Jig saw for the main cuts. Then belt sander and various tools (pipe, pencils etc.) for hand sanding. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. Just need to get some glue on it and do a bit more clean up sanding and it will be ready for the extra bits. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks Andy. Perhaps this weekend I can get to the receiver parts. Barrel is nearly complete though. Had a bit of a family tragedy so need to deal with that first. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  17. Yup that a right, but remember the wrist has no return edge. So ignore that line and cut from the inside. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah I've gone through that a couple of times but I just don't recall the painting part. So cylinders, rail, Trac and counter are smooth the rest can be hammered? Okay that answers what I was wondering. Thanks both of you. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  19. So I'm working on reviving a THG Props E-11 and unsure how to paint it. It is a solid cast mold with T-track molded into it. So my question is I was to use a hammered paint but beyond the T-track is the rest of the main body hammered? Leaving the counter, scope, rail, power cylinders untextured? 20. But of course and thank you. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  21. Yes after looking at it again it was probably the shadow that threw me off on the screw. I would also tentatively agree on the under suit being loose. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  22. I didn't notice that the screws were correct, mine needed replaced. No need to completely remove the return edge but trim it in a bit of an angle and yes hot water would be fine. You sort of want the shoulder to fit a little closer for the comfort. The fit is personal but you want them like this. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  23. Ah okay thanks Glen. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  24. So now comes the next big question. Should I start another thread for further approval or just add it here? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  25. Thank you good sir. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
