  1. So this is sort of where it is. Not sure what more I can really do considering this is a solid cast mold. If there are any other suggestions I'm all ears but if not not it prime and paint time I think. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. Tote acquired and everything fits with a little extra room. Plus I think it might be enough extra that I'll be able to fit my DLT-19 in there if I can get it to break down. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah unfortunately I can only use the blaster reference thread so much. It has been helpful for some things though.
  4. Yeah I wasn't thinking when I did and then when I submitted photos for approval I had to go and raise it to even it out.
  5. That is how mine was too and I ended up trimming it even. Before and after of my right forearm. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks Brian. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  7. Trim on then young trooper in the making. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. What length were they? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  9. So how's it coming taylor? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. Very small update. Outer barrel is complete just need to clean up the vent holes and then prime it. Gluing the grips on and then I can start on the top and adding details. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. Small update. Remade the scope rail and did the counter bracket. Redid my D-ring as it seemed a bit too wide. Then finally got to doing something about replacing the rear sights. Finally decided to add some backing/shim material to the Y section of the folding stock to stiffen it up and hopefully keep it in a proper shape when it gets warm as they tend to bend. 12. Perhaps tony, but you're good, like really good.1 Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  13. So what types of screws do I want for mounting the scope and counter? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  14. It depends on what you're comfortable with. I originally did the score and snap. When sanding I used 80, 220, 400 grits just with my hands. Then when I went back and was cleaning up more I used a dremel and then 220 and 500. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. Now that I look at it again you're right the back of the bicep is upside down. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. Looking good so far. When you trim the forearm trim it from the front ( part 19 I think, the one with the ridges). The bicep is fine as it is the public will never see that part as it will be covered by the shoulder bell. Keep up the good work. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  17. I could be wrong and if I am I'm sure someone will clarify, but I believe you want about a 1/4" or 5-7mm between you and your armor. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  18. Yes all of it. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  19. So yeah this is a sign I need to get to work on my blasters and small fixes for that EIB application. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  20. Yes! Just received my TK-ID confirmation email. Tk-95970 reporting in now. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk

  22. Like Glen said fit it all first then see how it fits you and trim accordingly. You may find you don't have to trim much. Yeah the only part that is a must is the wrist. For both comfort and accuracy, if you don't then your hands will scrap against the return edge every time you put them on.
  23. They look alright so far, perhaps trim the return edge a bit more at the elbow. I think mine are right about 3mm.
  24. I can't see them now, but it could be my phone.
