A return edge is not a requirement. But is nice if it's there to create illusion of thickness. I have no return edge on my thighs and reached Centurion. Return edges are nice but can trash an undersuit quick if they have one rough edge. So be sure to sand edge smooth as much as possible.

You go to the events you want to do. For your other questions it's all in the research that others have left for you. It sounds mean but doing the research will make you a better Trooper. I found it fun learning all the differences and once you learn it, it's yours to keep. Don't let that stop you from asking questions. Just the one's you asked would take pages to explain.

Per CRL higher level can not have holes present in canvas belt from holster visible. Not sure if pouch covering holes counts as not visible. Just something to think of before you mod with snaps.

Let me add to Joseph's photo. Some of those measurements should be followed(10mm in from edge) and(20mm down from top) the 52 & 53mm measurement may not work for your armor. Different makers have different heights. They should be used as a guide for even spacing. Yours might only be 48mm or could be 56mm like my RT mod. Hate to see you follow this exactly and not work out. Measure twice.drill once. Good Luck with the fix.

Lol!yeah Sandy's can be dry. A Ball game is a great first troop to say the least. Go big or go home, right? Once you get some battle wear on you the Sandy's will come around. Between us cause no one is reading this. They actually hate us cause they ain't us. But just keep that between us. Just kidding Dirty boys! Or ain't I?
