TK-53929 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status [Anovos] [740]
magni replied to rwbowri's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Glad to see you applying for EIB Robert! They're gonna need a few more pictures. Outside and inside of thigh ammo pack, sniper knee left and right side. Cod rivet and butt snaps. I'd show shoulder straps and elastic also. Maybe I'm missing something else. Sly or Tony will let you know. Your side gap looks good, you just need to line up left side. It shifted on you. And tighten up those shoulder bells. They should be up against strap. Good Luck Robert! Soon the NEG will have another EIB! -
You can use the Dave M decals from Trooperbay.

Welcome to FISD Olaf! Yes you can, and glad to see you're aiming for Centurion!

The inside coverstrips can save you now. With strips on both sides you can open the gap between them a little and still cover. Only the wrist end will show gap. And that will mostly be hidden with glove and handplate. And movement. Now that should be a good lesson in measure twice and cit once. -
Finished kit. looking for helpful critique

Let me add to what Allan has said already. Your back plate could come up a bit. Should have no overhang of kidney. Your thigh ammo pack is installed incorrectly and should only have curved edge on bottom. Your sniper knee isn't positioned correctly. All easily fixable. Plus bring them shoulder bells in close to straps. The thighs look tight. They should come up a little to even out the black showing. You're getting there. Just a bit of tweaking. Go over CRL and make sure you have everything required and check out the gallery for screen shots. That's your model. Good Luck Future Trooper -

Good Luck James! -
That's easy. You can pick up a control panel from CFO or scratch build game style( my choice to do ) and you can get flexible hand guards from a few friendly vendors here.
-
You should be able to take it to the top! You're doing good so far! What do you think is stopping you? I'll be starting a TKC next week when I pick up my WTF kit. I'll keep an eye on your build. Keep up the great work especially when our leader gives you props!

Arms looking good! I would recommend inside coverstrips. They make the joint stronger. Wrist return edge looks good. Just need to remove the bit on the raised section. Elbow end could lose some. It looks thick and confining. For the seams on undersuit use a black permanent marker and color where it shows. It will need touch ups after repeated washes. Keep up the good work -
Microphone - Icomm and Aker setup

I have to agree. I do the same thing. It works great sitting tight against bottom lip. The omnidirectional mics can go off easily with fan noise or someone getting in your grill, so to speak. Good Luck straightening your amp out. -
TD build for basic approval

Just a quick look. Your thigh ammo pack is in the wrong position. Just needs bottom corner rounded off and relocated to right position. Besides that you've got a good start. -
Now you mention that I think your right. It is torn on overlap for sure. Um, that must have taken some pressure to do that.
-
Not much description here. But from what I see you used velcro to close back of thighs and thats wrong. It would never hold. Rework with E-6000 and inside and outside coverstrips. From the picture it looks like there's enough extra plastic from inside lap.if your other thigh is same way it will need attention also. The only seam that should use Velcro is back of shins. The good news is mostly anything can be fixed. And this looks like one of them. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Looking awesome! Keep up the great work!

How about a picture so we're on the same page and we don't give you bad advice. Plus we like pictures

No Return Edge at wrist end. And for fitment of armor. On thighs I can fit 3 fingers down the outside edge. That works for me. Not to tight, Not to loose. -
Great start so far! The ride in would be comfortable but the walk through the docking bay would be brutal! Keep up the good work!

The first thing to do is hike everything up in the torso. Then you can raise your thighs a bit to give room. Are you wearing compression wear? Cause it looks baggy under your arms in a few spots. It's important to have that style rather then just a black shirt. Get some strapping together and see where your at. Good Luck with your adventure!

They're working on it. And they probably all like to use it too, so they probably got their best Troopers on it. Just a small bump in the road.
-
What kit comes with spare hands? Well you must be ready to go after your coffee break. Looking foward to your progress and hope to see you in the Advanced Tactics section later. Good Luck Future Trooper!
