  1. Also, on my kit I took just about ALL of the return edges off .. In your last photo it appears you have WAY too much material left on .
  2. keep in mind .. Armor is not "comfortable" ! You are fitting them with your underarmor on or something comparable, correct ?

  7. Nope .. your helmet is looking very good !! The only thing i can see them saying something about ( although it wont stop your helmet from being EIB / CENTURION ) is the thickness of the right ear disk. But Great Job !!

  18. That would be a matter of preference , to some point. I like mine lower gives it a little bit more "menacing" look, imho.

  20. Dont trim off so much with your first cut ... start off with a thick ear and slowly ... SLOWLY ... whittle that sucker down to fit . Take your time with the ears ... if you think they will be done quickly, youre mistaken. I think it took me roughly 2-3 hours per ear to get it where i wanted it.
  21. The ear may be a tad on the thick side on the DISK part but the lower ear is excellent !
