  1. the gallery mod shows the depth of this site as it grows and grows....! amazing detail! POST TOPIC TITLE why is it dark grey>? should not it be white?
  2. this is exactly correct it's all about the undercut. AP has the undercut and the vocoder area is quite pronounced! ATA has a flared and bumpy un even undercut
  3. silicone! Ah ha...
  4. the ATA lid is not the same. with ATA the lid has a rumpled and uneven bottom edge. there is no clean line on the bottom of the ATA lid. it requires trimming and is bumpy and has tons of curves. S trim does not follow AP or ATA trim edges with smooth and simple curves. actually there are several curves that don't allow S trim to sit with the "pressure" type of "screen accurate" type of install. I consider an unglued neck trim to be a 'costume flub' and should not be used in a 501st trooping suit. flapping neck trim is just as bad as shin undersuit flapping at the back of the shin armor. the AP lid is also not the same. potatoe... potato the ridge on ata does not form a true profile. it flares differently troopermaster... have you ever built an ATA lid? I have made 4 of them. on the other 22 AP lids I've made I use locktite superglue. I'm sure that AP and ATA are far different than a TM lid. can't wait to see the RS props lid... talk about wonky!
  5. ever try me?
  6. I ordered from him. he waited 80 days until I had to make a paypal claim and get my refund. took my order said 2 weeks tops. 80 days later I had no saber, and a refund. I met the seller at wondercon 2010 and I ordered later in the year. he said he remembered our conversation and STILL he did not produce his version of the white TK saber. there are many people on lightsabre forums who list saberforge as a bad seller. we're a TK group... we don't usually deal with saber makers. I'd stay away from saberforge not only because of my personal experience... but because also from reading other saber related comments about him taking people's money.
  7. it's ok man... the neck trim is a pain! we all struggle with some part of our kit? don't we?
  8. I like the vynal cogs... and the multi-codes on the left arm pocket.
  9. that glue is on his list of failures.
  10. my neck is so large the neckseal rubs against the helmet... glue is needed. the myth of keeping the neck trim unglued is tired. I use locktite superglue. and it still comes off.
  11. I did a detailed thread on this. lost in time?
  12. nice work phil! makes the TM junior look ever more proud!~ when walt gets done maybe you'll upgrade? interesting clone shoes he's wearing there.
  13. if you send parts you get a fully built one in return email and address received. work on your clips starts today.
  14. i still m working on the stuff here too!
  15. I make AP clips all I need is a PM with your email and mailing address! here is what they look like! or you can send your parts to me and I can build it up! I have a spare I can send asap
  16. that's small? please show pipe and end caps and control panel with photo. put a measure tape next to the pipe. what type of armor kit do you have? mine usually 2 1/4
  17. sure. send me your pipe diameter and I'll make you a set. PM or reply. just pay shipping and cost of materials. no profit. I make them out of polished 1" aluminum stock. dome flat head screws and bolts. easy assembly. comes polished and ready to drill up!
  18. happy holidays everyone! here's what it will look like in the store tomorrow for returns!~ ---------------
  19. maybe he'll wake up and apply for centurion and get that by morning?
  20. my point exactly. I think he's EIB? does he pass? my only other suggestion would be hengstler location, but that was varied in the films.
  21. well, there is a list of approved vendors, but we never really can supervise products listed, if you work with the original vendor of the belt, perhaps you can make suggestions or ask for a partial refund? I always put the troopers I help first... and I'm sure the belt maker would also follow suit. simply make suggestions to your original vendors, they will appreciate the feedback! BTW how much did you have to take off the bottom of your holster?
  22. also the handle strap is supposed to be 3/4" so darman simply needs to be told to make his holsters shorter, and with 3/4" straps and then his work will be worth so much more! one reason why I've been doing leather since 09' how much did you have to take off the bottom?
  23. looks nice! only question: are the straps on the holster 1" or 3/4" they are supposed to be 3/4"
