I have the same problem. I don't think it's browser related. 200 error means that the request to the page is successful, which is a bit weird.

Temp use of Velcro as attachments?
Spycee replied to Millar007's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Take your time, young padawan... If you use temporary attachments, nothing proves that your permanent attachments will give you a good look. Why are you in such a hurry ? You're eager to wear your costume, we all understand that, but it's a waste of time, it will not be functional more than a couple of minutes. Take your time to do it right. -
Nice, des troupes fraîches pour la Forteresse Impériale L'année prochaine la marche de stormtrooper au comiccon va être écoeurante !

Is putting togather your first suit hard?
Spycee replied to civitanom's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
It's not hard at all, but since you never did that before you will be afraid at almost all steps of the build. At the end you will see that this fear was not justified :-) If you read a lot from here it will be very hard to make an unforgiving mistake. It is long of course (damn E6000 and it's drying time!) but not hard, even if you go for centurion (which I hope!). -
I can't. But I would like it sooo much ! On a side note I began to build my second costume and I just realized that it will be equally difficult to sit with it !!! I must have a really bad karma :-(

It looks nice ! Sorry, I forgot to send you the link on the lenses I used :-(

It begins..... AP ANH Stunt
Spycee replied to Feedback's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Looks good ! Be sure to not have oversized biceps. They must not be too large, it's ugly, :-) If they're too large they won't be parallel with your arm.

Beau costume I would thin the drop boxes a bit too, they're a bit thick. Mine were too (AP !). Not that it can stop from being Centurion, but it looks a lot nicer -

TK-42178 Requesting ANH Stunt Centurion Status [AP][173]
Spycee replied to Spycee's topic in Request Centurion Status
Thanks guys ! And of course thanks Steve The FISD forum is a great and active community. I read and used other forums but here there is always somebody to help and encourage other members. I got help from a lot of people during my quest to accuracy, and I want to thank them all too. It was a great adventure, filled with fear, excitement and joy. @Steve : For the holster, I need to buy one for my daughter, so I will give this one to her and buy another one more accurate. It will be the same with the blaster, once I complete the "real" one with electronics. There will be weathering on it, it looks a lot better than a brand new gun For the side shims, it is not very complicated to do, the only tricky part is to sand correctly, and it's not that hard, it's just necessary to have the right sandpaper. Future TKs must not be frightened to do that, it looks soooo much better than to just glue an ABS piece ! If I was able to do it, everybody here can do it. -

Still no news of your approval ? Your costume is nice and you had a good opportunity to wear it at the comiccon ! Here are some advices to get it better : - Try to get your shoulder symetrical, left is too far apart and right is too close to the chest. Contact me for some advice. - Put foam in you left thigh, on the left side of the thigh. It should help to position it correctly.

TK-42178 Requesting ANH Stunt Centurion Status [AP][173]
Spycee replied to Spycee's topic in Request Centurion Status
Thanks guys ! Yeah I love these opening drop boxes, they're so useful to store all sorts of ... Well I won't lie, you can't store anything in these. But they are so cool -
Ok, I found the problem with John, it's because I only used 6v (4x AA). I wasn't able to use the 2nd battery block. So I used a 9v battery and it looks fine. Yeah I used your speakers, but it was the same with all the speakers I used.

Well, since I'm now EIB, it's time for Centurion My EIB request (with pictures) is here : http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31454-tk-42178-requesting-anh-stunt-build-eib-status-ap463/ What I did after that : - I corrected the charging handle behind the ejection port. I broke it (it was too well glued) and reversed it, reinforcing it with a small metal rod and glue. - I installed the inverted male snap on the ab (right side). - I glued the rubber handguards. So in theory I have all required parts for Centurion. What I didn't do after EIB : - I didn't change the screws on the TD : I tried to find good screws but they seem impossible to find in my area. - The rear sight on the blaster is still a bit high : I tried to remove it to try to lower it and I wasn't able. The only option is to cut it with a grinder and reglue it, but I fear that I will just damage the blaster doing it. - I didn't remove the second rivet on the blaster retaining strap : I'm not sure which one to remove, and I don't like the idea to have a hole in my holster. Do these 3 points can stop me to be Centurion ?

I got my RomFX ! I also got the PTT, and it works great :-) But the problem comes from the RomFX itself... It doesn't work well. When I turn it on it just makes a small static sound, and when I use it the sound is really really low when the volume is at max. When I push buttons it doesn't seem to so anything. The batteries are new ... Does someone have an idea ?
