  1. Still no news of your approval ? Your costume is nice and you had a good opportunity to wear it at the comiccon ! Here are some advices to get it better : - Try to get your shoulder symetrical, left is too far apart and right is too close to the chest. Contact me for some advice. - Put foam in you left thigh, on the left side of the thigh. It should help to position it correctly.
  2. Thanks guys ! Yeah I love these opening drop boxes, they're so useful to store all sorts of ... Well I won't lie, you can't store anything in these. But they are so cool
  3. Ok, I found the problem with John, it's because I only used 6v (4x AA). I wasn't able to use the 2nd battery block. So I used a 9v battery and it looks fine. Yeah I used your speakers, but it was the same with all the speakers I used.

  5. Well, since I'm now EIB, it's time for Centurion My EIB request (with pictures) is here : http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31454-tk-42178-requesting-anh-stunt-build-eib-status-ap463/ What I did after that : - I corrected the charging handle behind the ejection port. I broke it (it was too well glued) and reversed it, reinforcing it with a small metal rod and glue. - I installed the inverted male snap on the ab (right side). - I glued the rubber handguards. So in theory I have all required parts for Centurion. What I didn't do after EIB : - I didn't change the screws on the TD : I tried to find good screws but they seem impossible to find in my area. - The rear sight on the blaster is still a bit high : I tried to remove it to try to lower it and I wasn't able. The only option is to cut it with a grinder and reglue it, but I fear that I will just damage the blaster doing it. - I didn't remove the second rivet on the blaster retaining strap : I'm not sure which one to remove, and I don't like the idea to have a hole in my holster. Do these 3 points can stop me to be Centurion ?
  6. I got my RomFX ! I also got the PTT, and it works great :-) But the problem comes from the RomFX itself... It doesn't work well. When I turn it on it just makes a small static sound, and when I use it the sound is really really low when the volume is at max. When I push buttons it doesn't seem to so anything. The batteries are new ... Does someone have an idea ?
  7. It was a great weekend ! I met a lot of new people, and finally saw my first wookie. A couple more pictures : Buckets off ! The stormtrooper selfie in the elevator from another perspective : I forgot to take a picture from everybody with their FISD shirt
  8. We went to a little event last friday, we were 3 TK and 1 officer. TWe were not alone : a lot of medieval soldiers were there too ! I'm definitively not good at selfies ... A little break, just enough to eat a couple of sandwich with no crust : A glorious pose : A stormtrooper's day is never easy ...
  9. Alexandre Rondeau 42178 EIB Letter Thanks !
  10. Woo hoo thanks guys ! You can call me Alex only if I can call you Steve For the mentionned points : - My Centurion helmet has the rank bar on the third bump from the left, so it should be ok. I'll change it on this helmet too when I'll find some time. - The blaster came from a guy referred by Mark from AP. I don't know how he built it, I only bought it while waiting to finish my "real" blaster (which will take a long time !). I don't know how the parts are glued, and if it is easy to correct the problems. Will I be able to be Centurion with this blaster or will I have to wait for my other blaster to be finished ? What is scalloping ? - I already have the small white elastics for the shoulder bridges, I just didn't think to take a picture of them with the interior strapping, sorry. - If I remove one of the 2 rivets on the holster it will leave a hole, is it a problem for Centurion ? Is it mandatory to remove it ? I'm more bothered by a hole in it than having 2 rivets. Maybe I'll just change it someday for another one, and give this one to my daughter. - For my Centurion approbation I will (of course) take again all of the pictures. Thanks again !

  12. Laval is his home city, not his name I painted one of my helmets in satin black (with spray paint), and it's FANTASTIC !!! Just do it before cutting and build it. During the building (yeah, lots of ABS dust, I know !) :
  13. Here are some pictures : Shopping for some comics ... We found one of the 2 droids ! : My daughter was really happy to see this guy ! My son was not. Wait ... Is it the good droid we're looking for ? No, it's a trap !
  14. RomFX ordered and paid, with a PTT cable Woo hoo !
  15. Take care and take the time to get better. Health is #1 priority, far before the Empire's needs.
  17. I taped my glasses behind the lenses, it's GREAT ! I've trooped 3 days with them and I had no problem. The sides are of course removed. I now have to think of a way to hold them that let me put them on and off easily.
  18. I can safely say that the majority of the people here have no idea of what they're doing at the very beginning, so stay away from that for the first pieces :-) you're right, you must know what you're doing. I think it's better to begin with E6000, and if some pieces can't stay glued together use a bit of that to help.
  19. Everlast, it's what I have, I forgot the name ! Great undersuit for a great price. There's only one logo partly visible on the left of the chest, and a sharpie took care of it.
