  1. What you use for interior connection strapping has no bearing on your application as the CRL only states that you use elastic or nylon webbing. That said, the CRL does state the shoulder connections are to be white.
  2. Hey Adi I was referring to the butt plate issue.
  3. None that are required for EIB or Centurion. I'd ask Paul TM, he may have exact specs, I haven't seen any reference material on this.
  4. Yep those are correct. Please disregard my earlier suggestion.
  5. Still waiting to hear form those that have actually received their armor. I'm sure if differs between countries also.
  6. It's not the size but the type. It might just be the photo. They look dome headed. Please disregard if that's incorrect.
  7. Hey Adi looking good. One of the DOs will be with you shortly. If I had any suggestions to enhance the look of your armor it would be to following: 1. Tighten the strapping on the side of your posterior, they're flaring out a bit. They should be even with the kidney plate. 2. Raise your waist belt so that the upper ammo belt is at or just below the lowest Ab button. There's a couple more areas that may need some enhancement but none of these or the above should hold you back from EIB.
  8. Copy. Jim's kits do have a tendency to have more curves to them but that's the personality of his fan sculpt. Does it negatively effect how the armor fits on you?
  9. As my wife would say "He's discombobulated"
  10. It's no longer speculative. I see you like that word (rainman)
  11. I suggest positioning it as flush as possible for a few reasons like accuracy, aesthetics and safety
  12. No worries, information for the future when you need it.
  13. No worries brother I understood you
  14. Hey Christian looking good, keep up the great work . Before you get much further with the ears, if you plan on applying for the higher levels of approval you'll most likely be asked to adjust their position. The upper and lower screws should follow the trailing edge of the traps. Here's a couple reference photos.
  15. Hey Aizenoso, if you build your armor to Centurion standards as you've stated that's what you're aiming to do, except for the legs the entire upper section is supported by your shoulders. It literally floats on your body, arms and all. The waist belt secures your Ab tightly around your waist like a pair of pants. The harness posted above is for holding up your thighs but can also be used to lend additional support to your torso section if needed. I wouldn't mount anything else to it in my opinion. Hope this helps
  16. The top of the bells can be pulled tighter for starters. Since were not there what would you say is preventing the bells from sitting closer to the chest plate?
  17. Are you referring to the heavy contour?
  18. If I had to guess I'd say 25% if not more of the armor threads you look at here will have some type of armor sizing modification. I will tell you this, if the entire set of armor needs to be altered, and it sound like a good majority of does, you're talking about a lot of work. Maybe even more than building a whole new set Depending on how it was assembled if it was put together with E6000 glue then the dismantling task isn't so, bad still the assembly is still going to be a chore depending on the amount of modifications needed. If CA (or superglue) was used you run the risk of seriously damaging it upon disassembly. I don't mean to the Debbie Downer here however, coming from someone that's been down this path on more than one occasion, yea IMHO I would sell it, take the money and buy a new kit and build it to your body type. Perfect the first time. Not sure this is what you wanted to here but I hope it helps.
  19. Again, outstanding job on your build. If I had a suggestion it would be to replace the TD screw with the correct Pan head type. Reference photo Good luck
  20. I did have a question regarding the shins. Why don't you update your tutorial it to reflect what's current instead of confusing your builders on the debates of the past. Even My build thread was updated over a year ago.
  21. Looking fantastic Arthur. Good luck with your application. Looks like you're missing a few photos. Sniper knee L/R Right thigh ammo belt L/R, also rivet attachment inside and out Forearm wrist side Flexible hand guards Neck Seal Boots Blaster (5 angles) Green helmet lens "S" seal Interior connections Shoulder cover elastic
  22. Definitely contact them. That said, I have two and both had wore through certain areas of the rubber coating within a couple troops.
  23. I'd contact then seller. Is this from the UK? Stormtrooperundersuit?
