  1. Hey Kenton before I forget can you post the following info at the top of the page please. Name: FISD Name: Legion ID# and link to your 501st profile: Garrison: Thank you and again congratulations
  2. Hey Kenton thank you for your EIB application and thank you for updating your blaster, let's get you approved shall we. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor meets all the necessary requirements for level 2. With that Andrew and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry, congratulations Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Clean build Kenton, nice! We have a few areas we'd like to mention to improve the overall look of your armor. These are either simple fixes photo corrections. These will have no bearing on any future approvals but when shooting for Centurion it is those tiny things that make a big difference. Lets start from the top and work our way down. 1. Vocoder: Anovos have made improvements detailing their helmets, but the Vocoder shape and edges still can use a little refining, to sharpen the shape. Reference Your shoulder bell to bridge gap can be brought down by shortening the top black elastic straps that connect the two. They should virtually if not touch at the very top. Reference Continuing down here we have what we believe is a simple photo issue. Cover strips should be facing forward, reward and aligned with the other limbs. While on the subject of alignment the height of the things should be the same, Your left thigh looks spot on whereas your right could come up a bit. Next up there should be little to no gap between the back and kidney plates. A simple strapping adjustment should remedy the issue. Reference And finally, the drop boxes should reside directly underneath the ammo belt no connecting strap visible. Simple strap adjustment should do the trick here also, Reference Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern this is where we discuss them. At this time we only see one area of concern. As mentioned by Joseph the wrist side of the forearm can have no return edge at L3. The CRL states: For level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. This area will need to be fixed before applying for Centurion. Reference Lastly, as stated in the CRL the Hasbro blasted is not accepted at the Centurion level. You'll have to replace it before applying for Centurion. CRL: For level three certification (if applicable): Hasbro blasters are not allowed, even conversions. Well that's it, excellent job with only minor adjustments and fixes, then you are ready to rock Centurion. Congratulations and we hope to see you in Centurion review soon.
  3. It's on the First order TKs as well. I'll have to find the photo but I'm pretty certain its used to hold the shoulder bells down to keep them from flopping around while running.
  4. Eh! my fault I missed that, looking for something else. Thank you
  5. PM inbound
  6. I've purchased 3 of these so far and one canon versions sold in the UK. The knockoffs took 3 weeks to arrive the canon version 4 weeks, so obviously these's are out of the question for Halloween. $20-30 in two weeks, sorry I can't help you there.
  7. Actually the CRL doesn't state what type of flashlight that is required, period. So I'm a bit confused, you correct me for suggesting a non-canon light yet you suggest non-canon versions that are more expensive than the one I suggested.
  8. Hey Taylor would you be so kind as to post a link to your EIB application at the top of this page please. Thank you
  9. Looking forward to seeing your app

  11. Congrats
  12. With a tactical light and shoulder strap. Never noticed that before
  13. Very nice, excellent work Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. You're correct the canon armor is solid across the front with a chest shied covering that however, the storm troopers yoke (or whatever you want to call it) was still a ONE piece section.
  15. I'd be interested to see if the front of the yoke is like the movie armor and wraps around the chest and ab then velcros to the rear. If not does it just flap around underneath the chest?
  16. I'm seriously hoping this is not the case. If it is, bummer!
  17. Yea no the TFA yoke was one piece.
  18. That would have been cool to hang out with him.
  19. Clarification, without armor mods 95% the 501st troopers today won't get past basic, EIB maybe, myself included. Judging from the original photo neither will this new suit.
  20. Well if this is the new and improved Anovos suit it won't get past basic with that yoke.
  21. Completely understand. If there's anything we can do please let us know.
  22. Anytime. Tues 11:45 AM. I'r you're not sure what's required at any level the CRL is very helpful. http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt
  23. All is good Kenton, what Joseph is referring to regarding the forearms is there can be no return edge on the wrist side, this is a requirement at Centurion. The Hovi tips being white at the ends is accuracy suggestion only, though it is highly suggested it be done for L3. That being said, neither of the two are EIB required. If EIB is your end goal than nothing else needs to be done. Hope this helps
