  1. Actually 20.AMMO POUCHES: All Sandtrooper armor parts are weathered. See the Sandtrooper weathering page for more information. Black in color, made of canvas, leather or leather-like German MP-40 style ammo pouches.
  2. Hey Martin Sly or myself will be with you shortly. While you wait can you please post the following photos: Posterior exterior snaps Internal strapping Waist belt connection armor side Thank you
  3. Yes they are aren't they, no worries. Although, how they rest shouldn't make much difference, at least with the Anovos armor. The white Centurion level elastic as Daniel mentioned should do the trick of holding them in place. Note: Gluing the elastic knot to the underside of the back plate will also help keep the elastic aligned and prevent sprouting legs and walking away.
  4. Welcome to my world. Since I'm always eager to have the first costumes almost all of mine have had accuracy modifications made. Unfortunately when the first images or videos of anything that comes are generally never clear enough, not enough information or facts go out the window. What suppliers perceive as accurate may be way off as we've seen in so many instances. Long story short what BSP perceived to be factual was probably a simple mistake. As for what exactly they're making now you might want to ask them.
  5. Hey Jeffery, welcome and thank you for your EI application. Lets hit it!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. We have a couple minor suggestions to mention here. Just a small gap that we think can still be closed up some more. if you can get the top of the bells to touch the plastic shoulder bridges, it will be spot on. Reference photo Next up Back and Kidney plate alignment. The back should rest atop of the kidney. Also, there should be minimal gap between the two when raising your arms. Simple strapping adjustment should resolve this. Reference photo Waist belt height. The top edge of the waist ammo belt should reside at or just below the lower ab buttons. Another simple adjustment should fix this. Reference photo Finally the TD screws should be flat head, slotted and painted black. Please replace the screws with the correct versions. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. From what we can see, the only item that stands out is your drop box positioning. They should be aligned with the outer most edge of the ammo belt and just below it with little to no gap. For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference photo That's trooper, congratulations on a great build . We hope to see you at Centurion.
  6. Joe I have extra mesh for the teeth if you need it.
  7. Without having high res photos or a disassembled canon helmet I'm not sure if anyone knows if there's mesh behind or between the teeth. I'm guessing everyone that's replicating the canon helmet is putting the mesh between the teeth, though I could be wrong. BSP version 1 helmets didn't have the mesh period, I believe that's been corrected.
  8. I don't see why not as l okng as it's the standard 3 pouch design. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. Done!
  10. As pretty as these are doubt they would make great reference material, as Germain said they're nice statues. Oh how I would love to have armor that fit like this though, then again my butt would have revisit the gym to get a bod like that lol
  11. Nice work Brien you're well on your way
  12. Nylon is the preferred, this customer needed elastic for more flexibility.
  13. Heck just look at most build threads lol
  14. A. It doesn't. You just want to have enough surface area for the cover strip to glue to, and avoid frayed edges that may snag on your under suit. A. Whatever you're comfortable with, have more control over, etc. A. Align the lower return edge. The offset upper is normal. If it bugs you trim the excess off.
  15. Copy that soldier, carry on
  16. Kind of like keeping black boots white lol Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  17. Well the good thing is the pull straps are not a requirement nor mentioned in the CRL.
  18. Awesome to see another build thread in the works. Good news the photo you posted is not damaged goods but indeed peeling the protective layer off. I'm suspecting if you peel it back a bit you'll find the armor in good condition. Looking forward to your build.
  19. Good question. Other than the soles would need to be painted black, the upper white, and there's no seams anywhere I can see. This may be a cheap alternative. Any other staff members care to comment?
  20. Thank you Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  21. Photo of the waist belt off and laying it on the floor or similar connection side up. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
