  1. Regarding the sides, yes remove up to roughly 6mm per side. The cover strip is roughly 10mm in width. 12mm armor surface width will give the cover strip plenty of surface to glue to and everything will look uniform afterwards. The top and bottom return edges are not required. They give the armor the illusion of thickness. Unless you want or need them, remove as needed. Reference photo
  2. Oops! sorry forgot about the Tramp
  3. Hey Krill there are a few different audio systems out there. As you mentioned there's Troopertalk - My system - https://www.etsy.com/listing/525718278/ukswraths-stormtrooper-helmet-audio ROM/FX - http://www.romfx.com/ and more
  4. Ok then I'm suggesting you disassemble the biceps and this time trim each half the 6mm up to the return edge. Reinstall the cover strips the remove the upper and lower return edge. This is what it should look like, roughy
  5. Gary if you feel you may have difficulty replacing the belt I'd be happy to do it for you, just cover the cost of the new cloth belt and the shipping to/from my address. If this interests you send me a PM. Other than that give it a shot yourself, if all goes bad then you can buy a replacement.
  6. Hey Jeff, just out of curiosity do you have large biceps?
  7. Hey Gary the issue has always be the lack of rigidity and the 4 holes for the holster mounts. The armor from Anovos is mainly set up for ANH Stunt which is supposed to have 2 holster holes. Patching the belt is not excepted at L# that's why require it be replaced instead. Hope this helps
  8. And it's functional, I like it
  9. When you start adding cover strips one side at a time I bet your lines may look a little closer. Also, since the cover strip covers the joint there's not much to be concerned with other than good connection contact. No one will ever know about any imperfections

  11. If it makes you feel any better the majority of builders have experienced some level of utter frustration building this armor. That said, most have completed the task and some are EIB and Centurion status. Don't fret Joe, we're here with ya.
  12. I want these on my wall

  19. Hey Jim welcome back. Thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. You did a fantastic job making all the suggested corrections mentioned during your EIB application. This app is a perfect example of someone who really wanted that Centurion badge. L3 is about looking your best and as accurate and as possible, you really hit the mark Jim. Beautiful job on your build. Andrew and I absolutely delighted to welcome you to Centurion. Great job! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: We have nothing to add here except for keep an eye on your back plate to kidney gap. Tighten or replace the connecting straps, also maybe replace the velcro with snaps. That's it, time to get out there represent the Empire as its newest Centurion
