  1. Yep that works. Word of advice, go to Amazon and buy a pack of 400 grit to finish off areas. If not you'll be lathering your armor with spot putty to get rid of the sanding swirl marks.
  2. Hey Colin congratulations, great job
  3. A handheld sander like the Back & Decker Mouse works great for sanding in tight, time consuming areas.
  4. My thought on this, different processes are used in making the helmets which could lead to slight variations between the two.
  5. One final look over, we'll be with you momentarily.
  6. Hey Carl welcome back. Before we get started you'll need to remove the return edge from the wrist side of the forearms. This is a L3 requirement as stated in the CRL: "Level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed." Take a look at the reference photo below that's been provided. Reference photo Thank you.
  7. Hey Peter Joseph or myself will be with you shortly.
  8. Being a black sheep has its advantages lol

  10. Send your garrisons GML a friendly reminder. We all get busy and sometimes distracted.
  11. Fantastic! Beautiful armor.
  12. Looking good Brian
  13. Alright David welcome back, thank you for your Centurion application and making the required repairs. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Your armor displays all the required components as set out in the level 3 CRL. Joseph and I would like to congratulate and welcome you to Centurion brother. Spectacular work on that AP armor On another note you are Centurion #400, congratulations Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: As mentioned during your EIB application, raising the arms and waist belt slightly would enhance the overall look of your armor. Other than that you're good to go. Very clean build trooper. Time to head and make Vader and the Empire proud.
  14. Hey Ilan Joseph or myself will be with you shortly
  15. Wow! that was fast lol. Before we get started you'll need to remove any and all return edge wrist side of the forearms as stated in the CRL, thanks. Level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. Reference photo
  16. Hey David, welcome to your EIB review, thank you for applying. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: ll submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Fantastic job on your AP build., the attention to detail is outstanding. Welcome to L2 trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Wow what a clean build, you must be very proud. We have a couple minor suggestions but nothing critical. First is your forearms are sagging down over the hand guards, raising the biceps and forearms 1/2" or so would really help. Reference photo Lastly, we generally like to see the waist belt a bit higher, at or just below the lower ab buttons as seen in the reference photo. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. At this time we don't see anything holding you up from a clean Centurion application if you choose to apply. Again, great job on your build and EI application .
  17. Right!? Fantastic job on the blaster
  18. Typically the halves don't overlap each other, especially if trimmed and assembled correctly.
