  1. A 6'2" trooper I built armor for has three nylon straps from bell to bicep. The setup works perfect for him. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/36485-tk-79433-requesting-anh-stunt-centurion-status-anovos-223/
  2. Yep looks good, just try and keep the bicep tucked under the bell, doesn't have to be by much.
  3. Hey Aaron welcome to you Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. A big shout to you for making the suggested corrections pointed out by your fellow troopers, and fantastic job on your build . At this time Andrew and I would like to welcome you to Centurion. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: As suggested by your fellow troopers lowering your shins roughly 1" would actually make the legs look more uniform. That's it brother, time to check in with Vader and start representing the Empire as its newest Centurion
  4. Hey Nick welcome back. Thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Thank you for replacing the TD screws with the more correct type as suggested by your fellow troopers, and again beautiful job on your build. At this time Andrew and I would like to welcome you to Centurion. Great job! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Time to get out there and represent the Empire
  5. Hey Aaron Andrew or myself will be with you shortly.
  6. Regarding the screws. Looking at he photo provided the CRL required type is "A". Your's appear to be "B" or "C".
  7. Hey Nick Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. While you're waiting please post a link to your EIB application thank you The management
  8. Sounds like a plan. Make sure the snaps are very strong in this area, I would glue them directly, but that's me.
  9. Hooks are not a requirement. When I need to control and area of movement I use nylon webbing, elastic is like using velcro, never know what's going to happen.
  10. Wow brother you have some long arms. My suggestion, ditch using the hook. Drop the bicep down until the tops of the biceps can be seen in the front and back of the bell. Install a single connecting strap between the bicep and bell, dead center on the inner rib. Later if you feel they're moving around too much you can install front and rear strapping to help keep them centered. There should roughly be 1/2" gap between the bicep and forearm but not sure you'll be able to pull that off without creating too much gap between the forearms and hand guards. Find the sweet spot, balance between elbow and wrist then post more photos. Keep up the good work.
  11. I'd leave it there.
  12. I have to state that in case anyone else is following this thread that's not shooting for the higher levels
  13. Correct. The edge of the button plate should be smaller than the raised Ab portion. Though not in the CRL it would get menitoned during EIB. Basic approval you're fine
  14. Hi Wayne thank you for your patience and EIB application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your build With that Andrew and I have confirmed your armor displays all necessary elements as set out in the Expert Infantry CRL. Welcome to EI and congratulations. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. You have a few areas we'd like to go ever with you. Most are to enhance the overall look of your armor however, the accuracy of the armor is ultimately up to you. Starting at the top and working our way down, the hovi tip screen mesh doesn't appear to be the correct type (should be a heavier weave), that and they are set back further than what is seen in canon photos. It is suggested replacing the mesh with something closer to accurate and place them closer to the front. Reference photo Next the shoulder bells, there should be minimal gap between them and the chest and back plates. Removing any remaining lower bell return edge could help but it's also possible the bells are a bit small for you. This isn't a deal breaker but worth mentioning and worthy of trying to resolve. Here's a reference photo Next up the bicep and forearm cover strip overlap. The cover strips should not extend past the armors edge. We're not sure if it's a simple photo angle issue but we're suggesting you trim these back in case they are indeed too long. Reference photo Next up, the there should be minimal gap between the back and kidney plates. Tightening the connecting straps and/or use nylon webbing will help resolve the issue. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. As you may already be aware there is to be minimal gap between the Ab and Kidney plates. If you choose to apply for Centurion you will need to resolve this area of concern first. The CRL states: Level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the Abdomen and Kidney armor. Reference photos And lastly, the drop boxes should be aligned with the ammo belt. In some photos they are in others they're not. We're suggesting you secure the connecting straps to the cloth belt to maintain alignment. The CRL states: Level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference photo Excellent job on your build, hope to see you at Centurion
  15. As suppliers we shouldn't be afraid of customers concerns and customers shouldn't feel bad about asking questions, that's what good communication and service is all about. As you've also stated Walt has great customer service . Something simply just got overlooked and now is being remedied.
  16. This is a good question for Walt. IMHO something is off here, they shouldn't be that difficult to install, I could be wrong.
  17. Fixed, and welcome Andrew. Sly or myself will be with you shortly.
  18. After looking over your application we have areas we would like fixed before proceeding with your application. As you know Centurion is the elite when it comes to overall appearance and accuracy. There are areas at this level we work very hard at not compromising on. We mentioned during your EIB app the shoulder cover on the right side is sticking up, we would like you to secure this. You may need to give the area a hot water bath to reshape the plastic. Reference photo No, or minimal back and posterior plates to kidney plate overlap is allowed at Centurion. We're suggesting ditching the Anovos supplied velcro and elastic connecting straps and install nylon webbing and snaps in the following areas however, at minimum install more connecting straps to prevent the areas from overlapping. Reference photo And finally though not as critical the waist belt we feel is sitting too low and would like it brought up. There are simple solutions like adding velvro at the center of the belt that can help. Reference photos When you're finished please post new photos. Thank you
  19. Hey Jessie Andrew or myself will be with you shortly
  20. Hey Wayne Andrew or myself will be with you shortly
  21. I suspect they changed it for better mobility but common lol
  22. Yea the new TLJ cod looks like a bad 1980s bikini. Granted it does appear to vary between troopers, not sure if it's lighting or something else however, the TLJ cods are clearly different than the TFA cousins.
