  2. Sorry just now catching this build, looking great Jeff
  3. Wow so much of this armor looks just like the canon suits. Beautiful!
  4. Can't wait to see this completed.
  5. lol that will definitely help.
  6. Just do what I did and tell her "Hey sweetheart it keeps me out of the bars" lol Congratulations!
  7. Oh and as David stated split rivets are a bit easier to install perfectly acceptable at all levels of approval.
  8. Cap rivets are roughly 7.4mm or 5/16 though I have yet to find any in that exact size. Closest I've seen is 7mm on Ebay.
  9. Fantastic job Jeff, looking great . Basic should be a breeze. Good luck and hope to see you at EIB.
  10. Very nice
  11. Except for specific areas return edge is not a requirement, nor is it canon. There are plenty of areas on the movie suits where there was no or very little return edge. It all comes down to preference and/or how the armor fits your body. If you have a thin body and still have good mobility without excessive chafing then leave the return edge on, if not remove it as needed. Other info, canon connecting brackets require a return edge to mount to, snaps do not. When in doubt ask
  12. Looking good Kenton
  13. Looking good Deo and congratulations!
  14. I've got a box full of parts and scrap plastic, a reminder that junk happens and most everything can be made whole.
  15. Excellent, keep up the great work
  16. If I'm understanding you correctly Fredrik we recommend NO MORE then 25mm for the thigh, 20mm for arms and 30mm for the calves however, for larger applicants we've seen more than the maximum size come across our L2 and L3 pages. So, as long as ALL the cover strips look proportional to the armor section they are applied to, and they are proportional to the rest of the armor we will be lenient in this area.
