For lenses, there's scratch remover for glasses, with should work. Try the Novus as that may work too

Velcro shouldn't interfere with ears, unless you stuck them on with it... Only place Velcro should be is on inside of bucket... Personally, I think it looks good, now just to paint the frown and tears, and vents.

I'm with you on the knocking bucket on door thing... I'm 6'1" but don't have AP armour... Try a test fit with calves, thighs, an and butt plate, with the help of your Imperial Quartermaster?

I'd say whatever the CRL states for what level you are trying to achieve... That's the length I'd go with.

I'd stick with them as is, after all, these are yours, but ultimately it's your decision....
