  1. Your belt is fine.
  2. Very nice!
  3. Matt, Yes stay away from that site. Check these links out for further information on different armor makes and where to go.
  4. Check the sale/ trade forums also. Imperial boots is a good choice. Here is one that just posted not sure if they are your size. https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=98166 Good luck on your build.
  5. I have a: TK- ANH Stunt TK - Heavy Weapons Trooper SL - Darth Vader ROTJ I'm off to a slow start also. haha
  6. Congrats on your approval!
  7. Congrats on your new addition. When you say loosening do you mean the screw from the post? If so just put some lock tight on the screw end this should fix your problem and you will still be able to remove them if needed.
  8. I agree with all the 10 watt one is much better especially for the size. Good luck with it.
  9. This is a god build for one of your first. I've done several DoopyDoos. Follow the video it is very good. Have any questions let me know. Good luck
  10. No they wont work. BootsFor 501st approval: Boots are above ankle height and made of white leather or leather-like material. Small U-shaped elastic sections on both sides of the ankle. Flat sole with a short heel. No buckles or laces. Jodhpur/ Chelsea-type boots or an equivalent style is acceptable. Elvis or Mariachi boots are not allowed Not sure where to find those in that size. Try to get in touch with imperial boots and see if they can do a custom size.
  11. Congrats Anthony! Now lets get out there and start supporting the Empire by trooping!
  12. Very nice job. Looks like a great build to me, Good luck on your submission.
  13. Congrats on the BBB. You can get the Chicago screws at any hardware store, Lowes or Home Depot. Get the 3/16" post ones they will work the best. Good Luck!
  14. Welcome aboard Joseph. Yes check this out for vetted makers. There are different makers for every style and also every body size. Good luck.
  15. Nice BBB day. Congrats!
  16. Yes that will work but your triangle goes al the way to the top
  17. Not sure where to get spare parts that will work with that kit. Even if you get the cover strip off you can cut the strip on the inside down the seem then just add a larger strip to the inside over the one you cut. It won’t look all that pretty but it the inside of the thighs that nobody will see anyway.
  18. Frank, i had that same problem with the thighs. Mine are large also but you have to tapper them a little. You don’t want a bell look from your thigh to calf. The rest of those parts that are in your picture are for ESB stormtrooper and to make your kit a sand trooper. Put those on the side ina couple of years you will probably convert this one to a Sandy.
  19. I've used the e6000 with the latex and it doesn't seem to hold up that well. For the glue seeping through the glove I put wax paper on the inside of the glove and just peeled it off when the glue dried. Was a pain to get everything off but it holds well and the glove didn't glue to itself.
  20. Congrats, Looks great!
  21. In order to get the ears to fit right on the AM you have to just sand them down a little. The dimples are just a guide. I've built several AM kits for people and they inside dimples don't add up to the ear sometimes. Just trim and sand as needed. There is plenty of ear to work with there. Good luck.
  22. Do you have any pictures? If you have to make the cover strips larger in the back make sure you do them for both legs to keep symmetry.
  23. As Daryl said, Try not to shim in the front as this should also cause you to have larger cover strips. Butt joint in the front if possible and make your shims in the rear. As far as this goes you will only see it on the left leg anyway. See which leg you need to do this to and if it is just the right leg then your ammo pack will cover it. Also check with your GML in your garrison to see what they say as far as your level 1 approval.
  24. Congrats on your arrival of the BBB. Good Luck!
