  2. Thanks everyone! Money saved is money for my next build!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. I am just about to finish up my list of tools/supplies for my TK kit and was hoping to get some forum advice. Question.. When buying these two items am I wasting my money by buying the cheapest I can find. I just am not familiar with most of the brands out there and don't want to buy something I'll replace after a couple uses. I'd rather pay a couple bucks more for better quality tools. Any brands you guys can recommend? Your help is greatly appreciated! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. That's what I need! Shipping is ridiculous through their website! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks! Question though.. Is Black plated the type I buy? And JustJoseph says at least 30. So buy 40? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Unless you are doing this for the fun of the build, I would suggest a hyperfirm e-11. You can usually by a b-grade from them at a discounted price. Plus the hyperfirm is a much better option for trooping. As for doopydoos, when I initially ordered they were out of stock. I signed up for an email notification and after all is said an done I think it took about a month to get. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Wow!! Are you sure you bought a doopydoos kit? Oh... Nvm a pipe kit... Not a full kit, I misread lol! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. The only thing my doopydoos kit didn't have was the scope rail. Things can be upgraded but other then the scope rail they come pretty complete. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Glad to know your ok! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Officially approved! TKID 62403 My big brown box will be here on Friday, so more designations will be added!

  12. Where did you order yours btw? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. No worries, I knew something was amiss lol. Thank you for the kind offer on the magnets. Not a big deal though I will use them for something. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Question on the magnets. You say a 10mm x 3mm. I bought Magcraft 9.5 mm x 3.2mm and they just seem small. Did I buy the right size? They look like the size of a Tylenol tablet... Just trying to make sure I get the right tools needed to help me with my build. Thank you in advance and thank you for this awesome supply list! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I will ask around and see if I now anyone that owns a 3D printer. Otherwise expect a pm and if you use PayPal I don't mind paying for shipping and what ever is needed. I am not asking for you to spend money out of pocket! Thank you so much for your work. That sight piece is going to be a perfect addition to my e-11. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. You could fit my knowledge of 3D printing on that same stamp they used with room left over!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. How much for the sight!?!? I left my sight unfinished hoping to add it later! I was so dreading trying to hand make that! That is if you are willing to sell them made as well... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Are there any pro's/con's to using the "screen accurate" strapping system? Beyond screen accuracy.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Yep. The Magcraft N40 magnets I purchased say they have a pulling force of 4 lbs. where the KJMagnetics N42 have a 5.43lbs. of pulling force. Not that all that info tells me that they will pull enough or work for this application. So thank you for chiming in.
  20. Wooohoo! The time is near and I need to finish preparing for my big brown box! I placed an order for some Magcraft N40 .375" x .125" magnets. They are sold in a 30 count for $19 after shipping, compared to KJMagnetics N42 of the same dimensions being sold for $30 for a 20 count after shipping. Will these be sufficient? Just trying to save $$ where I can...
  21. I modded mine with an actual smg folding stock! Turns your dd Kit into a display model though. At least it did for me because of the added weight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. The bolt/screw goes by many names... Sex bolt, screw posts, tee-nuts and/or binding posts. I like the sound of sex bolt the best. Makes my blaster even sexier then it is!!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. This is a typical sex bolt. They come in various lengths. Luckily enough my local hardware store sold the exact length needed to make it all work. Once the sex bolt was inserted there was some play. So I hand tooled the pictured "grommet" to fill in that space and take any play out of the modded hinge. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. I used a sex bolt for the rear pivoting connection of the folding stock on my build. It was scary drilling all the way through but the end result was well worth it. As for the front.... That was a little more difficult. I ended up just filing down the area until my stock snapped in place. It is metal on plastic so it could easily break one day. But for now she works perfectly. I may have to look into adding magnets as a fail safe hold! Thanks for the idea Aaron and Brian I'll be waiting lol!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
