CRXPanda's Rebuild Thread

belt should just barely cover the bottom of the center rectangular area (where the buttons go). Kinda like the second image, but remember the plastic part is a little wider than the canvass part. -

Just remember to only take off a little at a time. It's easy to go back and take off a little more. It's harder to add it back in. -

If the previous owner was 5" taller, you're looking at quite a bit of cutting and resizing. The biceps and shoulders should be fine. Looks like the forearms need to be shorter. I'd take the extra off the wrist end. Might need to also shorten the shins and thighs. I'd take the extra from the ankle side of the shins, but follow the existing curves of the opening. Take the extra from the thighs off the top, again following the curves. How much you take off will be up to you. As for the back, kidney and rear plates... I'd take some off the lower edge of the back, some off the top edge of the rear and possibly off the lower edge of the kidney. Make sure the top of the kidney still aligns w the top of the front ab plate. There is room to trim the back and the chest at the shoulder, but you'll need to possibly relocate the snaps. Have you considered separating the ab and cod, then taking a bit off the top of the cod? You'll need to reattach the cod w snaps and straps. The seam should be hidden by the belt if this route is taken. Here is a build for a smaller framed guy and how he made it fit. Here is a great build from another lady trooper. *these are only suggestions of what I would personally do to make this fit me if I were in your shoes. There is always more than one way to skin a cat. -

No problemo! Your kit does look great! Just out of curiosity... If you let the thighs come down just a bit, it would balance out the amount of black showing at the knee, but would it hinder your movement? Good build tho! Should be an easy pass. -

I read the blog posts. Sounds like you're doing some innovative things with the re-use plastic signs and the bicep hook solution. As for the frustration of sizing and photographing your work in progress, maybe see if your hubz will take the pics for you instead of in a mirror? Just a thought. Keep going and keep us updated! -
the downside of that is the more knowledgeable troopers that have been around a while might get bombarded w @ question notifications. (just me being glass half empty)

Anyone gotten grief because blaster looked too real?
cm325i replied to hon143's topic in General Weapons Discussion
I've never had an issue. I have seen some local GI Joe cosplayers or Halo/ODST groups get their weapons tagged by cops at events. -
tjr2d2 first build - ANH Stunt

You're making steady progress bud! It'll be finished in no time! -
Maybe a new section for "funding" requests. Trooper A is raising money for a fellow trooper's hospital bills or funeral expenses. Trooper B is raising funds for a local charity by riding a bike for x miles or a walk or something. I believe there is one currently running for Scottt Loxley's new armor. Or for charity patch sales... stuff like that.

Coming right along! You'll be ready for Centurion in no time... -
Yes, definitely sight seeing for sure. Also planning a day trip to Forks (for the GF) and another day trip to Astoria, OR (where they filmed Goonies). Huge Goonies fan!

Hi Garrison Titan crew... I'll be visiting family in Seattle late June this year and wanted to see if there were any cons or gatherings that might be happening. I know I'll miss the big con, but even if some Garrison Titan folks want to get together for a beer or some food, that would be super cool. I'll be planning an outing to the SW costume exhibit while there as well. Hope to meet some new friends from the Northwest! Clint

CM are my initials and I drive a 1990 BMW 325i... not very exciting. I've always wanted my nickname IRL to be "The Zec" (from the movie Jack Reacher) Last 3 letters of my last name plus it sounds cool.

AM 2 can fit larger troopers, but can also be trimmed down to fit almost any size body. I have this kit built to EIB. I love it. If you want a sturdy kit for trooping (and screen accuracy isn't super important), I recommend it for the price and availability.
